I would like to volunteer to do an extensive map of the galaxy for the time it is set in this game. It will use a color system to indicate which planets belong to which faction (if any)

Here is a link to previous work I did with another star wars site. It is an unofficial map and links to the ctual map can be found on the page.

Hmm. We had a map in the last game, based off the nav-computer maps...

Then again, we're not a nationsim and we have a major faction that's literally off the map. But, on the other hand, a map would be pretty good as a reference. So uh, all I can give is a very definite "maybe."

We've got a preliminary map. It still needs a little tweaking here and there (also, the PSD got royally messed up

), but we can work that out fairly quickly and have it up for you guys soon.

If there's still consideration happening on the matter, having a map to help tell who's in what territory within the known galaxy certainly couldn't hurt. And it would be handy for knowing what planets are represented on each side.

Anyway, back on topic... I'll try to have the map ready over the weekend. Right now, I've got lab to prepare for, so it's not happening tonight. Been a really busy week.

EDIT: Fixed. Apparently, group permissions weren't properly updated to reflect the new forum. But, the forum permissions were set up mostly right. Simple mistake.

Also, I would like to amend Ryan Davad's application to change his race from Corellian to Kuati, as it seems rather important to remain "full blood" according to wiki.

I think I'm going to creatively design Kuati culture, and hope to keep it all together.

I was having a ton of trouble finding planets and locations in the galaxy map, so, after two or so days of work, I've added the grid system found in another galaxy map, that can work with an added upon Index.

I did not make these, I only copied the territories and added some non-canon locations (Except for undisclosed ones in the Unknown Regions, unless CMAC allows me to add them)

Just click on the example pictures below, and you're set. Download both the Galaxy Map and Index for quick referencing how far a location is, or where it is in the first place.

Let me know if there's a problem with it, like a location can't be read very well or if a non-canon or canon location wasn't added.
I've done this completely out of fun, and I hope you enjoy it
