And I thought there was a thing with Fisher and Lucas, and she made some off-color jokes and then she supposedly left for "personal reasons" for the remainder of the convention or something. And we were convinced Lucas basically pressured her to leave for daring to make a joke about Leia and Jabba or something.

Nor, really, is Prowse's irritation over being redubbed. Then again, you'd think he would have gotten it in, oh... '77? It's not like he was unaware he'd be redubbed when they did Empire or Jedi.
And seriously, get over it? Sorry, but Darth Vader is not menacing with an upper-register Bristol accent. He's just not. You had an imposing build, Mister Prowse... but your voice was not up to the task.

Was mainly just wondering if there were many other people on here involved.
I'm in the process of joining the UK Garrison just now. I think I'll probably only turn out for the bigger events, I don't want to overdo it and get bored with it. I know each garrison will probably be different, but did you find they were accepting of new members? |

But yeah, I'm working on a new VII. It's sorta like the old one, but not written by a 14-year old me. And I provide some information to the players. And we're not going to have a major film release totally alter canon in the middle. So, hopefully, it should be overall less silly. >_>
