So, Hurricane Sandy is bearing down on us... it's apparently bigger than Irene, which obliterated a small town near where I went to high school. Granted, apparently few people are checking Unity anymore... but if we come back, might be nice to have some record of major events.
And this is looking like one hell of one.

Well, I've gone to my brother's house to wait it out. Can't really afford to be snowed in or stuck by fallen trees.

| I can say first hand that it was bad. Very, very bad. I just got power back this evening after losing it late Monday when we were being ravaged by 70 mph winds. Most of New Jersey's coast is gone and the beach towns are devastated. New York City isn't in much better shape. |
