Summarized Biography: Artania is the sister of Ta'a Chume, the former Hapan Queen Mother, and daughter to Ni'Korish, the Queen Mother before her. Long familiar with the scheming and backstabbing that are the standard of politics in the royal court, Artania was loved by many nobles, and even had the favor of her mother, despite Ta'a being the designated Chume'da. Perhaps because of jealousy, perhaps because of rumors that she had allied with foreign powers to claim the throne for herself, or perhaps merely as a precaution, Ta'a arranged for her sister to be kidnapped and banished to the desolate world of Reboam, on the edge of Hapan space. The story presented to the royal court was that Artania had been killed by pirates in a botched ransom attempt, and soon Hapans accepted that she was dead and all but forgot about her. Having been confined to a lowly existence on a desert world for innumerable decades, Artania has managed to get wind of current affairs on Hapes, including that Ta'a Chume has long abdicated, and that due to her sister's actions, the royal bloodline has been diluted with the blood of Jedi. Will the long thought dead princess return to the Fountain Palace?

Ta'a Chume was well into her eighties by the Legacy era, and still seemed to be doing fine until Jacen gave her a brain hemorrhage. Attribute it to longer Hapan lifespans, advanced galactic medical technology, what have you...
