The Skywalkers' Apartment

The day has started out so hectic today compared to the easy flowing day of yesterday. She had spent the entire day with Luke yesterday, though it had started out all romantic and fluffy, they ended up dropping everything near the end and going to the Jedi Temple to investigate the attack that had taken place. She tried to calm Luke down, and was succeeding until he noticed something else that was wrong, something had happened to Leia or at least something was bothering Leia. So he had departed to the Solo's while Mara went sleeplessly back to their apartment to check up on Ben.

He had grown so fast, she sometimes couldn’t believe he was already fourteen, well fourteen and a half, but who was keeping track? But he was doing what any child of his age did; he was stuffing his face full of food. He was a kind child, especially around his cousins, but she still thought he was maturing too quickly. "So, what keeps this young Jedi from sleeping?" Mara asked questioningly, she had been out with Luke for so long today, that she hadn’t seen him all day and it was getting late.

"Oh you know, waiting for you guys to get home, bearing some form of news." Ben said before taking a large bite of whatever it was he had in his hand.

"And what is that supposed to mean?" Mara asked skeptically, eyeing down Ben with a very questioning look.

"Oh nothing, you and dad had been out all day, and then even later with that attack on the Jedi temple. I had just expected….some form of good or bad news when you got back." Ben said, finishing his sentence before he finished eating whatever it was that he was eating.
