Daara Zend Returns to the Galaxy

The Holonet is on fire during these late hours as news of Grand Admiral Daara Zend's return has been announced. Late in the Coruscanti evening of Day 11, the Grand Admiral herself issued an address to the galaxy as a whole.

Twenty years ago, Zend disappeared from the galactic scene, taking with her half of the Imperial Remnant. The crippled state of the Empire led to the unconditional surrender of 20 Galactic, which in turn allowed the Galactic Union to flourish.

Almost more surprising is Zend's purported, self-admitted responsibility for an attack on Bastion. Already an uproar is spreading through Imperial worlds, demanding an answer to her claim that Jagged Fel and the Empire's highest leadership is dead - and of the rumors that a new emperor has been selected.

No major power has yet commented on the message from Zend, but independent analysts on Obroa-skai confirm the message is not a fake. Speculators are already attributing Zend's return to the bombings on Coruscant and Denon, as well as the death of CiC Ulgo and the attempt on Chief of State Valure's life. These, however, are not confirmed. Time will tell the veracity of this speculation and of Zend's claims.
