I thought up this little game almost a year ago, back on HeavenGames. And since we have a lot of new people here, and a lot of people who know nothing about each other, I was thinking it would be the perfect game to play here.

You post 5 statements about yourself, which are either true or false. These statements should be rather specific, things that are not common knowledge. However, they shouldn't be overtly ridiculous, nor should they be knowledge that only one particular forummer may know.

Those who evaluate at least 3 of these statements correctly receive 1 point. The person who answers the most correctly, or the first person to post in a tie, will continue with 5 statements of his own. That person will get 2 points, since he won't be able to gain any points in the next round.

Each round lasts one day from the time of the posting of the statements. After the round ends, play stops and the current "host" of that round must post his answers, and then he must explain more about them. That's the point of this game; getting to know each other better. :) After all that is done, I'll grade the points.

There are 14 rounds in each stage, meaning two weeks of play and 14 forummers per stage. After each stage, the rules may be altered slightly to make it harder or easier to achieve points, so score what you can in the early rounds; you may need the easy points!

After 3 stages, the game is over and the winner is declared from the combined point totals of each stage. If there's a tie, I'll host as many tie-breaker rounds as needed. I may also throw in a few bonus point rounds during play.

If the current host of the round doesn't reply, then everyone who participated in the round receives a point, and the host is not allowed to host again. I'll then post a question to see who gets to host next.

Sound fun? I hope so!

Rules

  • No registration necessary. Participate whenever it suits you, but don't expect to win if you're only there a round per stage.
  • When you evaluate statements, list each statement and place your choice, True or False, in bold, next to it. You may leave no comment to your answer, since this could give following players an unfair advantage.
  • You may post once per round to evaluate the statements. No more; no changing answers. No editing. I'm a moderator, I can see into your soul and set fire to your pants.
  • Don't be inappropriate. We don't care about how many joints you've smoked or "girls" you've "banged." Statements like "I am am not virgin" are okay, though. Don't charge your statements with innuendo.
  • Don't bait. Don't say things like "I supported the only true way, Obama". Say "I voted for Obama" or "I am a liberal."
  • Don't post unless you are continuing the game. If you have a comment about the answers to statements, make them in some other post after the round is over, not in a separate post.
  • Don't be stupid (ie: "I am a thousand years old"). Make your questions answerable. Don't play favorites; don't use inside jokes.
  • Don't lie.
  • If you violate any of these rules, your post may be edited.
  • Question me and you die.
  • Be unexpected! If you're posting statements, try to fool your friends who think they know you so well! I know that I personally will try to be thinking of questions that even my closest friends may not know.

This game was a great success on HeavenGames, being one of the most popular threads for over four months. So, I think we have a good chance of doing well with it here.

I would participate in this round, but I think that would be unfair since I'm related to him.

The church building is only about a hundred years old, but the church itself has existed in Pennsylvania for 277 years in various forms, on the same location.
