Hey guys,
For a long time, we've known it's been a pain to switch between characters on this board. You either have to log out then log in again, or you have to have a slew of different browsers (IE, Firefox, Opera, etc) and be signed in individually on each of them.
Unfortunately, I'm not about to announce the long-awaited alias system. However, I did find something a while ago that made it a lot easier for me, and I want to share it with the Firefox users here.
It's called CookieSwap. You can make multiple profiles, log into a particular Unity account per each one of them, and then switch between them with two clicks. That means there's no more multiple browser windows, no more logging out and logging back in; it's really simple. I have one for each of my characters, with Kastor as my default.
So, try it out and see if it works for you. It's certainly been convenient for me. Have fun!
I have the cookies on my IE Explorer saved, so I just type in 'B' on my computer in the log in screen, and it brings up my password and everything and signs me into Badim Soilding.
Works for me, but if I were a firefox user, I'd definately use that. _________________ "No One Deserves To Die, Except For Those Who Do." |

It's definitely interesting. Weird though that it shows you logged in with multiple account down at the bottom of the index. All good though I suppose. _________________ Jedi Master Kyp Durron

LOL! Sometimes though, it's important, like the tag system (Though annoying at times, it does keep things in check), and the plot system (I went back through all of my posts with the Badim plot to link the story together, a lot of work, but it was worth it).
But yeah, I agree with Jess,

Just a heads-up... maybe a little tutorial for those of us who set up our accounts long ago, and then made a new character recently. _________________ Empress Shayera Jendob

There's no difference. Make a new profile, log in as the new character with the profile selected.
Although if you have Firefox 4 CookieSwap hasn't been updated to work with it yet. _________________
