I actually had a question, causethe few people I asked gave me very very vague responses on this. But what as a jedi are we limited to in this era? Even just a small example would eb apprictaed, like what forms, powers, etc. I'm having trouble even thinking up a combat post without conflicting myself on what is ok or too much.

I don't think I'm asking for too much, but I foresaw my character excelling and concentrating on mostly lightsaber combat with only the basic jedi powers and maybe one other power later in the RP. But at one point I was discussing the use of form VII with Jase, and was hoping it would be one of the forms we focused with considering that his school teaches primarily in harsh combat, and that teetering close to the darkside wasn’t something new at his school.

But I sent her a pm to be sure ^^

Oh yeah, form VII was supposed to be the main type taught at the school, aside from Jase's 'use whatever weapons are available' style. I honestly can't remember if I brought that up and got a clear answer ever. My bad.

Yeah, I dunno about Vaapad. Unless you mean Juyo... which is still a bit iffy for Jedi.

I had hoped for Juyo, since Jase is a Master and Council member by now. Also, given his other life experiences. Preferably, I would create a new form which includes a secondary weapon, such as a blaster.This way, the user is better suited to multiple enemies.

I was still hoping for force lighting grenade. Hover the younglings in the air, then toss them at your opponent while showering them in a burst of force lighting XP

But message was sent asking about form VII which I think consisted of Juyo and a few small powers I was wondering about.

Which I swore there was a form consisting of two bladed combat but my sight for info seems to 404 on me after two pages every time >.>

I dunno. Depends on the character's level of advancement. I mean, let's face it... a character like Jaden Korr from JA would probably not be RPG legal.

Form I: Shii-Cho - Rather basic, but lethal in the hands of a Master. Kit Fisto used this.

Form II: Makashi - Saber-to-saber fencing. Dooku's form.

Form III: Soresu - Defensive form. This is what Kenobi used in AotC and ROTS. A true master can be all but impregnable to blaster and saber attacks.

Form IV: Ataru - Continuous offense, featuring lots of acrobatics. Episode I duel and Yoda.

Form V: Shien/Djem So - The classic saber form of the Original Trilogy, also preferred by Anakin Skywalker and later, with some adjustment, Darth Vader. Powerful strokes and better defense than Form IV.

Form VI: Niman - Jack of all trades, master of none. Also called the Diplomat's form because of its balanced nature. Used by the dude that got capped by Jango in the Geo Arena.

Form VII: Juyo/Vaapad - Very, very, very rare in Jedi ranks because it draws upon anger and other dark emotions. Juyo, in fact, is very strongly associated with the Dark Side as it allows Sith and Dark Jedi to cut loose. Vaapad toes the line between Dark and LIght, but of the three people who developed it, two fell to the Dark Side and one nearly did before he died.

But yeah, that's why I chose Juyo, well one of the reasons. Jase has always been.... an angry person

It's kind of his outlet for his anger

But I prefer to us ehis self-developed style for now. The Juyo can be reserved for..... 'special events'
