Summarized Biography:

Neo was born on Yaga Minor a year before the destruction of the first Death Star to Janet Haynes, a mid-level starship mechanic, and Gueric Sarkk, an Imperial stormtrooper stationed at the planetary shipyards. When Daala reunited the Empire and began remobilizing the Army, Gueric was reassigned to a frontline station and advanced to Sergeant Major within a year. Neo enlisted at 17 thanks to relaxed Imperial recruiting restrictions due to the war, but that same year his father was killed in action fighting on Wayland. Neo joined the Stormtrooper Corps in his father’s name and quickly proved that he had the will and the skill to become even more than the rank-and-file. His superiors transferred him to the revived Special Operations branch of the Corps, and Neo became one of the elite Storm Commandos.

By the end of the second Galactic Civil War Neo had distinguished himself in several battles, including the Second Battle of Commenor. Neo and four other Storm Commandos were inserted behind enemy lines to disrupt communications, coordinate artillery fire, and sabotage enemy forces however possible. However, when a company of New Republic soldiers cornered and surrounded his team in a small forest, Neo opted for an unorthodox tactic – calling in an artillery barrage centered on his team. Thanks to their dugouts they managed to survive without more than a single broken leg, while the enemy company was torn to shreds around them. This achievement earned Neo the rank of Sergeant First Class, and by the war’s end he had been promoted again to Master Sergeant.

After the war, Neo attempted to resign from the Corps, but due to the increasing shortage of Imperial personnel his request was denied. After filling several security and intelligence roles over the last few years, he has recently transferred to the Star Destroyer Gauntlet in the Bilbringi system.
