Hey all,

After CMAC was sitting down earlier and trying to sort out some plot events, we realized that we barely knew when things occurred. I'm sure you guys must be confused too.

So, we created a timeline. It includes events from before the RPG started, but its main focus is events that are going on now in the RPG. So, if you're currently in a plot, and you're wondering if Fran has died yet, or if Daara has attacked yet, or whatever, consult the timeline for a quick answer.

If a noteworthy event happens for your character, or for the RPG in general, feel free to add to the timeline (but don't clog it up with every single detail about everything your characters do - that's not the point :D).

Also, on a somewhat-related note, we're asking, for the moment, that you don't go beyond Day 10 for the time being. Some important events will be happening that day. :) After this introduction is over, though, the limits should be a lot less restrictive... we're almost there, folks!

Please keep in mind, though, that you shouldn't be running your characters and your plots based on what date it is right now. That isn't important. The timeline helps coordinate major events and relations between plots. It's for important things that can't be out of sync. It might be good, though, to occasionally place and check "milestones" at specific dates so you can keep a good idea of where you are in time at that particular moment.

Enjoy, and please tell us what you think!

I like it, though if it becomes too constrictive, it'll undermine the game. :P

My only concern is that the Blight Leaper crew have posted much more than the rest of the game, and it makes these type of timelines much more confusing. Like we did the Cantina Plot, the Iego Plot, visitation on Kuat, to Nar Shadda, and now we're on Denon.

That's one hell of a "week" :P

Yeah, that's what I mean. That's why we can only use this to reconcile major events. Like, what prompted this was we were trying to figure out if Fran had died before our dinner meeting with Arlyn and Ryan. Well, we didn't know. And from what we had been assuming so far, Fran wasn't dead yet, although we had referenced it. :p So we set Fran's death date to have occurred on the same day as the Heist to make it make sense.

Hmm, I can see where that can be confusing.

I'm having trouble with Lucas and Tseneca specifically, I mean, they have been through a lot already, and it would be hard to cram this into a week, and at most 10 days.

Could we set the Oxanna Cantina plot and the Iego crashdown to before the 41st year?

Hm. I don't see why not, as long as you didn't reference Unification Day having already occurred.

Okay I reread the posts, and a lot of people mention "10 years of peace" or unification in a very general term. But no direct reference to "Unification Day".

Would placing the Oxanna Plot on the timeline a month prior to Unification Day, cause major timelag or weird duration between then and your present post? (Most of you were involved in Iego as well, and many of us had written we had spent a good three weeks on the surface...)

Let me know!

Hm... Seeing this made me think of my plot...

Alright, let's see here:

Expand

Hm... From what I can tell with my plot is all I need to do is change the time in a few of my posts and such. Then again, all I really need to do is change the time span in the mission report between Clare and Candrog.

And leave the part where Clare's trying to say she loves Badim, saying that ...They've known eachother for about a week, ten days max. Could just be an expression or something. Feeling like they've known eachother longer than they really have.

So, I'll get a quick edit going and I should be alright from here on :D

Fete Weeks or Festival Weeks on Coruscant came in three forms, a New Year Fete Week, a Festival of Life, and a Festival of Stars.

Okay, I understand now. :P

Though not sure what the Coruscanti Holidays are?

We're working on an article on the Holonet about the SW calendar right now. Should be done later this evening. :D

Alex, I'd assumed we'd been doing this for over a month time wise... space travel included...

yikers.

I put the Iego incident a month before New Years Day, so that gives us a little bit of room. There was no way it all took place in a week. :D

Well, apparently, Revenge of the Sith occurred in a span of nine days, so lots of stuff can happen in a really small span of time if you condense it efficiently.

There's a bit I'm wondering about that I'm hoping to figure out for future reference. Though most of the big events from after 12 I'm assuming can be ignored as having turned into a major thing of their own due to the resurgence of the Galactic Civil War (Centerpoint and the Corellian uprising, "The New Rebellion" events, ect) or simply being ignored all together (The Vong, mostly), there's one bit I'm curious on what took place instead: the Yevetha/N'Zoth. Where does the Black Fleet stuff fit into things? Did they just never get uppity? Did they try to pull something, but got put down quicker by the New Republic or Empire faster and became just a minor footnote as part of the larger conflict? Did their plans get pre-empted by the Empire noticing they were missing ships and taking them back years sooner? Or are they still biding their time like a powder keg waiting to give everyone yet another headache to deal with?

Thanks!

Yes, I was curious about that too. The HoloNet article on the Galactic Union refers to a "Corellian Empire?"

Hmmmm, good question. Well, we just had a talk and we decided to have it be like this:

The crisis happened, but on a lesser scale. A putdown of Yevethan ship-building uprisings led to a larger scale revolt and the seizure of some unaccounted Imperial ships by the Yevetha. After some skirmishing, the Yevetha managed to capture Han and used him as a bargaining chip to get Republic help, similar to how it was in the books. It was put down quickly, however, by the Empire's forces, since they were unified under Daara for three years by that time. The Imperial forces attacked and destroyed the rebelling portions and handled the situation on their own, while Han was rescued by Chewbacca and a team of NR operatives in the midst of the engagement - Chewbacca, however, did not survive.

So, hopefully that's okay. :D It'll be added to the timeline soon.

As far as the Corellian Star Empire goes, it's a name we've given to the government that controls the Five Brothers in the Corellian system, and to their colonies (such as Ord Mantell, etc). Competing powers may have occupied those planets during that time, but they're now under Corellian rule as such.

Oh wait... I just relooked at one of my posts: http://unity.swrpgs.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=4191#4191

And I stated that Chewbacca became the new chieftain at some point in the past. Let me know if you wanna keep that or edit it and have me make up another chieftain.
