Leia Organa Solo is a legendary figure of the Rebel Alliance, the New Republic, and the Galactic Union. She was present from the earliest days of the Rebel Alliance, being instrumental in the destruction of the first Death Star.
Throughout the years she remained active, intimately involved in the formative acts of both the New Republic and the Galactic Union. She served as both the Chief of State of the New Republic and a Counselor of the Galactic Union several times before entering semi-retirement on Coruscant. She has what is generally considered a permanent seat on both the New Republic cabinet and the Galactic Union advisory board. |
