Galactic Union Stock Exchange

Badim couldn't believe what he just saw: Tseneca and Lucas had made their way around the room, through the fleeing crowd and apprehended weapons from the guards. And now Tseneca held Nico at point blank. Nico seemed un-phased by what had happened, just standing with the blaster in her face, smiling? Badim knew something bad was going to happen if Nico was so calm about the situation. He walked out of the shadows with his hands in fists, still feeling the pain Nico had brought on him with Clare's possible death. He stopped halfway into the room and waved for one of the security guards blasters. Lucas tossed one of the two in his hands and Badim caught the expertly thrown weapon.

Badim gripped it and scoffed, figuring out it was just a stunblaster for crowd control. He held it all the same and pointed it at the barabels and Nico. He suddenly didn't think of Nico, the barabels or anything else in the room, all he could think about was Clare, if she was still alive or not. He allowed another silent tear to drop from his cheek as he thought about her. He straightened his arm towards Nico, pulling and pushing it back and forth in her direction, deciding what to do. He heard Kyp's lightsaber hum as he walked next to him, he turned to Badim and gave just a simple nod to him. Badim didn't know if he knew what he was feeling or not, a Jedi thing... Maybe it was just Badim's body language that was expressing the uncomforting position he was in.

Badim kept his distance from Vera, fearing he'd kill her for what she'd done before the others could get the information they needed from her...

Politician Private Lounge and Branch

Jonas, Diann, Dex and Clare heaved the bodies from the room, where guards and passing do-good citizens assisted. Alisson toggled the timer, but the device would go off soon enough. "Hurry, I have about three or four additional resets, before this thing goes off by default." Alisson breathed to Jonas, who lifted an obese woman. Lifted, wasn't the proper description. Dragging, and shoving the woman out of the door, perhaps even rolling in several portions of the trip, before a droid hoisted her upwards and off to safety.

Diann bent low, her hand resting on Alisson's shoulder, "We got 'em. Let's move." Alisson reset the timer, the digits now registering twenty seconds. Together, they ran. Booked it across the Financial Promenade, across the gardens and to a safe distance. Alisson had counted three...two...one, and upon reaching zero, the entire private lounge exploded. With the levels compromised, the building began to drop in on itself. Nico had effectively destroyed Bank Headquarters...

"The Stock Exchange," Clare breathed, winded from the body-dragging and lifting. "You think she's there already?" Just a moment later, and sirens were blasting in their general direction. Bank security enveloped them, while an army of medics swarmed to the blaster-stunned politicians. They wouldn't be going anywhere, anytime soon.

"If she is, its out of our hands." A medic had strapped Diann and Jonas to a hover-table, despite their fervent resistance. The medic repeating, Everything is all right, we are taking you to the hospital, while a nearby bank manager hit his forehead with the palm of his hand, swearing to his coworker this will be a logistical nightmare! You know how many lawsuits we face, and my gods, the media!

Alisson sighed, as three medics approached her. She didn't mind the trip to the hospital, but she had no intention of being examined.

Clare was relieved that the bomb had gone off with the building cleared of patrons and themselves. She panted as she waved away medics, but they still pursued her. She thought of Badim and the others at the Stock Exchange. She raised her head, seeing the building, seemingly a mile away from her. She lowered her head and took in a deep breathe. She thought about rushing towards the building, taking a guard’s weapon and helping her friends, but couldn’t. Too many things could happen. She didn’t risk her mission here, or her mission to save Badim later from Candrog. She straightened herself, trying to convince the medics that she needed to leave. But they wouldn’t listen.

They escorted her and everyone else to the Bank’s nearest hospital, placed there for any onsite accidents for workers. She looked back at the Stock Exchange, wondering what was going on inside…

Galactic Union Stock Exchange

Someone had shouted bomb, and instantly, the crowd turned into the preferred amount of chaos originally intended. She made quick work of getting to the Stock Exchange's artificial systems, accessing the supercomputer, which supported the major economic behemoth. Her Bothan Spynet contact had specially crafted a device in placing a backdoor into the system.

The barabels covered her harmoniously, pushing and shoving those who dared to run too close, while she planted the bug. In physical form, the bug would allow unlimited access, but even an amateur software engineer would detect and remove it immediately. The bug, however, served a dual purpose. It was dropping virus-eggs, and at predetermined intervals, they'd send, receive and command information. It would be impossible to fully eradicate from the system, with the information seeping into so many terminals, that even a complete wipe couldn't save the Exchange's supercomputer from Nico's backdoor.

Not fully understanding the technology herself, Nico accessed the knowledge on several of her future targets, including an interest on Thyferra. She had clocked the Iego fiend, and identified her later as Tseneca Lowry-Fink. "Verrra." Sabr hissed. Vera uploaded the information into two datapadds, placing one into her leather outfit, and the other in her right hand. As she spun around, Tseneca had her at point blank, "Stop there."

Vera smiled, the young Jedi, son of the legendary Kuat Drive Yards. Now that was a target. She smiled, looking away from the Jedi. He'd be dealt with another day, but as of the moment, it was her. "Tseneca, I don't believe we have had the pleasantries of an official meeting. My name is Vera Nico."

"Shut up, Vera." the boy had hissed, the tone alone would have matched well with royal or noble family from their homeworld. Her eyes drifted to him, as though asking him to stop speaking. He didn't say another word, but Vera could tell, she had them all eating out of the palm of her hand.

"You need something from me, don't you?" Vera turned her attention back to Tseneca, a clean smile coming over her face. The smile alone would convey that Vera knew everything. She knew that Emmett had disappeared, and while their recent communications had been strange, she knew enough about the man to make an educated guess that he was involved in the blackmarket. It would be difficult, for Tseneca, to consider her once honorable Imperial flyboy was now just a washed out drugged lune looking for intel reports to score his next load of deathsticks.

On the otherhand, Emmett's handsome features were clean and well mended. His story of pleasing a drug lord for intel, seemed incoherent. It didn't really matter. The money had funded her operations, and it kept both of them in business. In a reflecting way, she hoped to coerce Tseneca to a deep and dark place, "He has beautiful eyes." The jedi answered by stepping forward, his blue lightstick poised for lethal confortation. Though playfully taunting the woman, Vera was losing precious time. The bomb her companions had set in the basement was only six minutes away from obliterating them all, "I'm not feeling overly cooperative, especially with all these blasters in my face. Why don't you tell your Tuskendogs to lower them, and I'll," Vera toyed with the datapadd in her hand, "give you the location of our next meet."

The emotion that coursed through the woman's face at the exact moment was priceless. Tseneca didn't look at her comrades, when she said, "Do it." The boyjedi had protested, but a firm reprimand caused him to deactivate the lightstick. The barabels snarled, their eyes catching something or someone in the distance. "Tell me, or I'll shoot you myself."

Vera liked that the woman took charge, but she wasn't done playing the game, and Tseneca would have to learn when to speak. After all, where would the galaxy be, without any manners? "You are very demanding for someone that should be begging. How many years has it been since you seen his smile, heard the joy beneath his laugh? I can tell you what he feels like, but is it still vivid for you? I can describe what it is like to be held in his arms, and the way his fingers caress my cheeks. I'll tell him you said, 'hello', but I doubt he wants to hear it. Something about being a rich-spoiled bacta brat he had wished he never intervened," Tseneca looked as though she was about to explode, "I'll say it after we make love." She flicked her wrist, sending the datapadd forward with all the information about Dmtir Bakh-Lowry, "Why don't you clean up your relatives mess, before I have to? Until then-"

Instantly, the barabels shot their blasters, sending a sonic wave towards Tseneca and her sidekick. They were flipped over backwards, as Nico and the lizards repelled downwards and onto a secondary floor.... Nico raced down a hall, absolutely sure the Leapers would recover and continue a hot pursuit, but three figures lurked in the dark. As Vera ran passed them, she whispered, "Leave the woman alive, kill the rest."

Galactic Union Stock Exchange

Kyp watched the exchange of words between Nico and Tseneca. Obviously the wound was more tender than he had originally thought. As a Jedi of many years, Kyp had developed his own emotional detachment from the world around himself. Others such as Tseneca were not so lucky. For a budding force sensitive it was dangerous to start off so violently. The two women spoke and without warning her escort shot off their sonic blasters, sending Lucas and Tseneca end over end.

Before Kyp could react Nico began making her escape. Regardless of her head start she couldn't expect to outrun two Jedi, even if one probably had been jostled a bit. Kyp covered the distance between himself and Lucas in two strides. The young Jedi lay face up but in a daze. "Come on, get up," Kyp said but it didn't seem to register. Kyp shook him as hard as he could and yelled this time. "Get the hell up!" This time it managed to register as Lucas stood under his own power, though he still seems a bit dazed. "Give's you one hell of a headache, don't it?" To his right Badim had lifted Tseneca from the floor. "We don't got all day, come on," Kyp gripped the one of the ropes Nico had used to repel and threw himself over the edge. Gripping the rope between his feet and using the extra slack on his sleeves to cover his hands Kyp quickly slid down the rope.

Once down below on the secondary floor Kyp raced ahead towards the fleeing Nico but was cut short by a slight movement in his peripheral. Coming to a halt Kyp spotted three forms that seemed to melt into the light. Each silhouette bigger than the last. Judging from the amount of weaponry and armor strapped to their bodies Kyp immediately knew what he had gotten himself into. So that's how she planned to get away. Lucas and Badim caught up behind him each brandishing the weapons of their trades. Kyp leveled his lightsaber and pointed to the largest bounty hunter, "Meat," then to the two smaller bounty hunters, "or potatoes?"

Tseneca felt anger rippling through her core as Nico spoke. It made her dizzy, and she struggled to push it aside, struggled to find the center of herself, of the force, in which she could reside.

"Frak it." She lunged toward Nico, but was thrown backward by sonic blaster fire and the immediate mind numbing side effects.

She must of blacked out, but felt strong arms hoist her up. "We gotta move..." Badim grunted and she shook her head, trying to clear it. Tseneca reached out, trying to sense Lucas. He was ahead of them. She and Badim jogged to catch up to him and Kyp just as more blaster fire erupted. Nico was escaping, and they were blockaded by 2 bounty hunters and other of Nico's guardians under her command. The Jedi's lightsabers whirled in a steady blur, deflecting shots from either side of the barrage.

Tseneca opened fire. There was no way they could get past Nico's men in time to prevent her from escaping. Thinking fast, she reached down and grabbed her comm.

"Firi, bring the skiff around to the the side entrance of the bank, blasters blazing..."

(H6-32)

As the dealer cursed loudly into the air, H6 and Firi were off towards the bank in their speeder. It took a lot of persuasion, but they had acquired the speeder at a relatively low cost. Firi held onto the arm rests as H6 sped faster towards the bank complex. His processors went into overtime, calculating their ETA, movement of the other speeders around them, and making sure Firi didn’t fall out with all of H6’s… ‘Hot Dogging’.
He glanced over, Firi was talking over the comlink. His enhanced hearing cutout all the noise from the traffic and concentrated on the device.
"Firi, bring the skiff around to the side entrance of the bank, blasters blazing..." Tseneca said over the comlink.
Before Firi could reply, H6 eagerly blurted, “Acknowledgement!” as he veered the speeder towards the location of the signal.

(Badim)

Badim looked at the bounty hunters, the larger one as Kyp pointed him out, then the smaller ones. He remember taking on Warir’kar, that wookiee was larger than the bigger one and confidently replied, “Meat.”
He waited for the others to arrive, take their positions and targets, then rushed forward and tackled the large bounty hunter. Or at least he tried. Badim jammed his body up into the bounty hunter’s stomach, but Badim seemingly bounced off it’s gut. He fell to the ground with a large thump, feeling like the wind got knocked out of him. Not one of my better ideas, he quietly muttered to himself. He looked and saw the bounty hunter pointing his blaster at Badim’s face. He brought his leg up and kicked the blaster out of his hand. Then stood and gestured, If we’re going to fight, no blasters, while he waved his index finger towards the bounty hunter. The bounty hunter seemed to have honor, priming his fists then rushing forward headlong towards Badim. Badim stood motionless, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Time slowed as Badim watched for this opening he was waiting for. He saw the man slip on his right foot slightly, making him rise and lower just a hair. Badim took action, lowering himself to the ground quickly, he saw the man right on top of him. Badim brought his fist up and into the man’s nose, then pumped his legs and tripped the man.

He raised himself off the ground from his slide and looked at the man behind him. Getting up with a bloody nose, infuriated. Badim casually walked towards the blaster the bounty hunter had dropped and pointed it at the man. Then fired between the eyes.

Onsite Employee and Visitor Hospital

Sara struggled as she tried to fight her way out of the straps along with Jonas. It had been a short trip to the hospital and they were quickly released from the hover-tables; they were quickly examined and given a green to walk around, but not leave the premises yet.
She cursed as she thought about the others, wondering what dangers Nico had in store for them as she stared out a window and in the direction of the Stock Exchange. Jonas walked next to her, looking in the same direction as they saw faint blaster fire erupt from the building.
Sara looked at Jonas, trying to remember what had happened between them at the lounge when the attack began. The way they looked at each other. She shook her head and continued to stare out the window.

Onsite Employee and Visitor Hospital

Clare was cleared, but wasn’t allowed to leave the building for her own safety, but was allowed to walk the building freely, however. She took advantage of that and walked casually towards the lobby. Ignoring Diann, Jonas, Dex and Alisson as she walked past them with a determined stare. She walked through the surprisingly empty lobby towards the entrance, but was stopped by two guards. She smiled falsely towards them, looking past the transparisteel doors, waiting for her moment. She paced the area genially, determined to escape and take Badim to Nar Shaddaa. She continued to wait until she spotted a speeder land across the street. She poised herself, ready to pounce on the two guards.

When one wasn’t looking, she jumped at him, grabbing his stun-rifle and firing on the two. She rushed across the street and into the speeder. She quickly crouched and began to hotwire it. It took her five minutes, but the guards hadn’t thought she’d run just to the other side of the path. She heard the satisfying hum of the engine starting and she flew into the air and towards the Exchange. The whips of hair that blew into her face made her think of the life she had on Nar Shaddaa, and the night before her private services for Candrog began…

Five years ago

Clare and her team sat in the barracks with the rest of the mercenaries employed by Candrog. The entire room was a buzz in blue armor as men and women sparred with each other in the large dorm, all except The Krayts; they sat in a corner of the room, chatting amongst themselves as they waited for Candrog’s next mission. Clare seemingly drifted away from reality as she stared at the sway of the other mercenaries, trying to think back to the misty, vague life she used to have five years ago with her family. She remembered being so weak, crying until she fell asleep from exhaustion, she didn’t enjoy that moment of her life. She spent what seemed like several days just crying until she couldn’t anymore. No one came for her, no one cared. She eventually left out of hunger and stole scrapes of food to get by. But she continued to remember a grassy field somewhere, and a blurry face of what she believed to be her Father.
“Clare?” Rath asked as he bumped Clare’s shoulder.
“Mhh?” she muttered as she slowly returned to reality.
“You have that face again,” Fenk continued, “Wanna talk about it?”
She looked at the team she belonged to: Fenk Mai, Rath Yavoog, Aria Faal, Aleena Dan and Jensi Abren, then replied, “It’s nothing,” she finished with a gritty, nervous smile. The rest of the team began to continue their conversation while Clare quietly listened. Fenk was the sensitive member of the team, always looking out for the others, studying them and making sure they were alright, mentally and emotionally.
Aria was the team’s sniper, she had nailed a fly by it’s wings with a knife; from across the barracks. Or at least that was the rumor that is.
Aleena was the team’s demolition expert. Always favoring the biggest and loudest approach to achieving their missions.
Jensi was the team’s leader, a strong and capable man in his late thirties.
Rath was Clare’s best friend. They both signed up at the same time and she almost knocked his lights out when he called her, Pateesa. Her and Rath had both become great friends, they had fought and killed together and had grown a sort of brother and sister bond. One Clare would never have again with Shen.
Clare was the youngest of the team, just turning nineteen recently. Joining up with the promise of a better lifestyle and a large sum of credits. Out of tragedy with the loss of her entire family, Clare seemed to be the toughest girl on the entire planet, or at least she thought with all the troubles she’d gone through in her late childhood.

”Krayts!” an overhead speaker yelled at the team, ”Candrog’s ready for yah.”

The entire team pounced to their feet and walked to the entrance of the dorm. Not knowing what mission they were going to undertake…

Present

She shook herself out of her reminiscing and continued towards the Exchange.

After the fight with the bounty hunters is over and Firi and H6 chase Nico, Clare’s going to arrive and pick Badim up to help.

Galactic Union Stock Exchange

Kyp moved forward only to have his forward momentum cut short by a volume of blaster fire. The bounty hunter seemed to have a quick trigger finger. Kyp's blade twirled deflecting the searing bolts away from himself. Sensing Kyp was getting too close the hunter bounded back, dodging a horizontal lightsaber strike. Kyp kept on the attack, pushing his enemy back further and further. A short bust of fire erupted from the hunter's back sending him up towards a neighboring length of catwalk. The hunter only managed to get a dozen feet off the ground before Kyp pushed with the force sending his foe into a steel girder. The jetpack sizzled off and the hunter crashed to the ground. Kyp knew it was not over by a long shot.

The hunter began shooting again but didn't retreat as fast as he had before. Kyp sensed that he was setting something up. With a pull from the force Kyp sent a live power coupling towards his metal armor covered foe. The hunter managed to dodge the coupling only to find Kyp in too close for a blaster. As Kyp brought his lightsaber down for the final blow he noticed the hunter's hand reach down and pull free a vibrosword. The buzz of the blade cut through the air right next to Kyp's face as he dodged and brought his lightsaber in to parry the next swipe. Kyp's blade met the hunter's much to his surprise. Kyp had heard of compounds that could be added to metal to help resist lightsaber.

Kyp stared across the blades into the black reflective visor of the hunter. It was like fighting a droid when you couldn't see their face. However he was sure the hunter saw his face. Determined to end the fight as quickly as possible Kyp pushed out with the force again. Trying to catch Kyp off guard the hunter went with the blow but launched a rocket at Kyp's feet. With only a second left Kyp pushed off the ground to avoid direct contact with the rocket. The concussion caught Kyp in mid-air and made him lose balance as the world began to spin. Kyp caught a glimpse of the floor, turned off his lightsaber, and tucked in his arms and head in an attempt to roll. With a definite thud Kyp hit the floor, however he managed to roll enough to avoid most of the damage.

On the floor, his world still spinning Kyp only saw a glimpse of the hunter who had leveled his blaster. Aiming to splatter Kyp's brains across the floor the hunter fired. Again Kyp slipped away from certain death. Pushing himself off the floor with the force, he found himself spinning again but this time it was controlled. Igniting his lightsaber at just the right time Kyp deflected the bolt back towards his attacker, hitting the blaster perfectly. With his blaster ineffective the hunter rushed forward, his vibrosword held high preparing a vertical strike. Raising his lightsaber Kyp caught the vibrosword's blade above him. Pushing with all the muscles in his body Kyp forced the hunter's blade to his left and into a support beam. Kyp finally took the initiative and swept the back his right hand, striking the helmeted head with the bottom of his fist. It probably hurt Kyp more than the hunter but it definitely worked in his favor.

With the hunter struggling to get his bearings Kyp moved in and forced the hunter's vibrosword to make contact with the power coupling. Kyp dove out of the way as electric energy surged into the bounty hunter's body through the vibrosword. With a loud crack the vibrosword's powercell and sonic generator overloaded and exploded. Kyp turned back to see the hunter's hand explode as if he had clasped his hand around a firecracker. A muffled scream came from the hunter who fell to his knees in shock. All in all Kyp was amazed he was still alive. It didn't last long though as the hunter passed out from a combination of blood lose, electrocution, and shock.

Kyp stood up and checked himself. A cut had formed near his hair line, most likely from his tumble. Kyp could feel where bruises would start coming in soon. Nevertheless he was in one piece. With his foe defeated and incapacitated, Kyp ignited his lightsaber again and rushed forward to help his two companions.

(H6-32)

Firi and H6 began to close on the bank, seeing blaster fire coming from the entrance to the Stock Exchange Building. “Statement: Firi, may I please ask that you grab the speeder’s controls?” he asked carefully.
Firi nodded and reached passed H6 and grasped the controls as H6 moved about, swapping from the driver seat to the passenger side. He gripped a large blaster Master had supplied him with, an X-45 sniper rifle. Highly accurate in his hands, and extremely deadly. Firi brought the speeder down slowly to the large transparisteel window that adorned the front entrance. Through it, he saw Tseneca, Lucas, Durron and Master battling three--Correction--two...--Correction--one black armored assailant.
Suggestion: Firi, would you angle the speeder between 24.8823-and-62.2214 degrees to the starboard lateral; so I can have a clearer shot?” Firi sat there, wondering what he meant.

*Sigh*,” he verbalized, “Correction: Between five-to-ten feet to the right.”
Firi nodded and veered the speeder as directed.

Perhaps he was speaking too logical and robotic for any of his organic companions to contemplate. It was, as his fellow organics would verbalize, ‘His own damn fault.’ He took aim and processed potential actions the assailant would take. He aimed just to the left of the assailant’s head, calculating a 73.221 percent chance of him succeeding in his kill; and waited approximately 1.42999 seconds before seeing his target move to the spot he projected.

He took only a fraction of a second to increase the zoom on the rifle’s scope and fired. His robotic shock-absorbers kept his aim steady when he was called by his companions on the ground, “Firi, H6! Nico’s escaping, follow her!”

As Firi veered away from the building to begin their pursuit, H6 scoffed, having only collected one kill. Firi gestured that H6 take the control’s back. He nodded and swapped seats.

He saw a speeder begin to fly away from the scene, he magnified his vision as much as he could, pushing his processors to their limits. He made out a woman in a black jumpsuit, with a faint, V.N. imprinted on it.
Statement: Target acquired.” he announced eagerly as he sped forward, trying to imagine a smile across his steel face.

I was thinking that during the chase, Nico or one of her barabels would temporarily disable H6 somehow, maybe a blaster shot of some sorts. He would still be active, but it would be up to Firi to fly the speeder and fire the tracking device while H6 guided her and complained a bit while he attempted self-repairs. It would expand a bit on her character :D
(After H6 is shot, he would have only a few seconds before his systems shut down, plenty of time for the two to swap once more.)
Let me know what you think.

Firi swapped seats with H6 again. For a machine, he was quite agile. He targeted Nico as she and her own transport sped through the crowded streets. She glanced as the droid increased power to internal weapons systems and the weapons on the skiff.

Blaster fire rained down on their open compartment and Firi felt H6's metal hand push her down below the dash. "Suggestion: You may wish to take cover at this time" She winced as the smell of blast energy filled the air inches above her head.

H6 swerved the skiff, avoiding vehicles and pedestrians as they sped after nico, throwing her back into her seat. Nico's barabels, half out of the transport ahead of them, were shooting with mechanical fury.

Firi, not knowing what else to do, took hold of the blaster she had been given by the others and shot back, using what she had learned from Tseneca in the arena on Kuat. She was an unlucky shot, and barely caused a dent in the hull of nico's vehicle.

"Statement: closing in. Perhaps if i can get close enough--" H6 was cut off by a shot to his torso. Sparks and electrodes flared as he was knocked backwards into the driver's seat.

"H6!?" Firi gasped. Grabbing the controls to steady the skiff.

"Statement: Its nothing. Correction: A minor mal-mal-mal-mal-mal function." His voice circuits sputtered and whined low.

Quickly, with all the strength she could muster, she hoisted the droid into the back seats, allowing him to slouch against the compartment. Facing back, she regained control of the skiff.

"I have a bad feeling about this..." She whispered.

"Statement" H6, responded through cracking vocal wiring. "So do I."

Let me know if this works, if not, i can fix it.

No, that’s fine Jess.

(H6-32)

Statement: Co-collision with oncoming ve-vehicle in 1.9 seconds!” H6 yelled as he used what power he had to repair his own circuits and help Firi drive and not collide with anything.
Firi saw the other speeder and swerved away from it, nearly clipping H6’s head as the bottom of the speeder came over his head.
Analysis: That was certain-tain-tainly a close one!”

“Sorry!” Firi protested as she continued to chase Nico and dodge enemy fire.
Correction: I am not m-m-mad, Firi. It was effective. The less you de-detour from the chase, the better our chances are of catching Vera.”

Organics, H6 seemed to keep contemplating, They always assume the worst before the good, complimenting parts comes.
He allowed one photoreceptor to keep an eye on Firi and the world around them, and the other on his barely working arms. They worked inside his body, trying to repair his damaged motor core. He skillfully tried to make a temporary repair by using what he could find inside the speeder as makeshift parts.
He examined the leather, A horrible conductor. He reached with a shaky hand and removed one of the buttons that adorned the inside of the speeder, Steel Carbide…Not very effective, but it will have to do. He removed as many buttons as he thought he would need and began to work again, only to have to concentrate his attention back to Firi. He looked, seeing a hail of blaster fire coming their way. It’d be impossible for her to dodge it, unless…
Demand: Flip the speeder upside-down and travel towards the ground temporarily!” They both held on as she did as he instructed. They fell towards the ground as the blaster fire harmlessly hit the bottom of their speeder.
Statement: Now would be an excellent time to Pull Up!” he yelled frantically.

As Badim engaged the brute, and Kyp with one of the smaller potatoes Tseneca and Lucas took the final hunter. "Once I get him distracted, make a run for it. You might still have a chance to get her." His lightsaber whipped around to catch a blaster bolt. Lucas used the Force to push his assailant into the wall, but the rapid trigger finger, kept his mind on moving the lightsaber fast enough to protect himself and Tseneca. As they gained ground, the hunter took off via jetpack, much like Kyp's had, but with much more success. The upper ground proved nearly fatal, a shot had seared passed his neck, Lucas just barely missing the bolt. "Son of a bitch!" He called out, rather surprised one had managed to get through.

Using the Force, Lucas exploded the jetpack, sending the man downwards. Despite the fall, and perhaps breaking a leg, the hunter brought out a repeating blaster rifle. "Just die already!" Lucas called out, trying to keep the inner Jedi peace at balance. Tseneca tossed herself behind a nook in the wall, her slender figure easily fitting between it and the drinking fountain. As the barrage of blaster bolts hailed down on him, it was only a matter of time before he would make a mistake and be pummeled with green energy.

Just when he thought he was about to crack, the entire building shook violently, enough to stir the hunter into a uncontrollable frenzy, the blaster rifle shooting all around. Though it was generally frowned upon, tossing your weapon in the heat of battle, Lucas shot his lightsaber forward with a surge of the Force. It swung across the man's neck, and the body fell limp. "What the hell was that?" Tseneca asked, but before Lucas could answer, they both noticed a deadman's switch in the hunter's hand, only the hunter must've set it off early.

Durron and Badim emerged, equally satisfied with the results of their attackers. "What's going on- oh, wow." Badim joked, after seeing the headless hunter.

"Bomb in the basement," Lucas shot out, the quad Leaper gang taking a full sprint towards the exit.

"There really was a bomb..." Master Durron lipped as they pushed through the doors...

Moments later, the Galactic Union Stock Exchange came tumbling down. One by one, preset charges on key infrastructure brought the massive financial building in on itself. "Denon Security..." Lucas groaned, a speeder pulling up in front of them.

"Nope." Badim shot back, hoping into the front seat. Lucas peered around him, and smiled. "Clare!"

Firi pulled up. She righted the speeder in enough time to move out of the way of a few smaller skiffs, their drivers yelling in languages she could not understand.

Nico's speeder never slowed its pace, nor did the blaster fire hailing down end. Firi cried out as a bolt hit the head rest centemeters from her face. She could block it, she knew, but that contained more concentration toward her powers and less steering the skiff.

"H6!?" she called again, hoping he was still in tact.

"Statement: It fine... everything's fine.... Aaurek besh dorn--- Allayloo ta nuv kalla--- {whistle} --- h muttagay dta oo--- Statement sorry, about that, my binary programing for speech is---"

Firi swerved cutting the droid off. Nico was speeding down an alley way toward central Denon's hangar bay, a trail of disposed vehicles in her wake.

There stood a ship, its ganglplank open wide. Firi picked up speed.

"Excalamation: No! At that speed they'll barn swallow into the ship and we'll get caught---"

Firi had no time to cut the speed as Nicos skiff when sailing into the larger transport, Firi and H6's own speeder sliding with built momentum into the transports belly right behind.

So, Firi and H6 are in the docking portion of Nico's ship, along with nico and her barabels. They aren't gonna take off yet, but.... lol

Badim jumped inside the speeder’s passenger seat. He heard Lucas calling her name, ”Clare!”
Clare ignored him and began to fly away. The others were protesting that she should wait for them to hop in as well, “No time!” she quickly shot back as she sped forward and in the direction of Nico. Badim looked back at the others, watching them make their way back towards the Leaper he assumed. His gaze then fell on Clare. Her hair and clothes swayed in the wind.

“What happened at the lounge?” he asked.
“Nico’s what happened,” she replied, not turning her eyes to his, concentrating on getting Nico, “Everyone else is fine, they’re just being held at the hospital despite their protests.”

“I thought you were dead…” Badim uncontrollably replied. She glanced at him, then back in front of them. She quietly replied, “Me too.”

Clare subtly angled the speeder away from the chase and towards Hanger Bay 48-D. The rest of the trip to the hanger was quiet. Badim didn’t question her, thinking she knew where Vera had gone. They came upon the hanger and she slowly lowered the speeder to the ground. The two stepped out and walked inside. They found a pilot working on a YT-450a, Badim raised his blaster to the man, telling him to freeze.

The pilot dropped his tool in surprise. As he raised his arms over his head, he nervously asked, “Are you two the ones I’m waiting for?”

Badim looked bewildered, wondering what he could mean, “Clare,” he whispered, looking at her curiously “This is where Nico went, right?”
“No, Badim. She‘s didn't…” Clare replied, bringing her stun blaster up to him and shooting him in the arm with it. He began to sputter and convulse as the neurological shock blast made it’s way through his body. Before it completely took over his body, he reached for his comlink and yelled into it, “T-Ts-Tseneca!” then collapsed on the floor, twitching as the electrical pulses worked through him, throwing him into unconsciousness.

Clare looked at his body as he seemingly slept. She waved the pilot over, who rushed over and helped grab Badim as Clare pocketed his comlink, hearing muttered queries from Tseneca.
“So, I’m guess you are the two I’m picking up?” The pilot asked as he heaved Badim up the ship’s gangplank. Clare followed, not replying to the man, being fixated on Badim’s sleeping body. The man gently placed Badim into a makeshift brig and left for the cockpit.
Clare heard something about Tseneca directing H6 and Firi to find the two. She waited as she heard the ships engines try to whine to life.

Dun dun DUNNNN!

Alright, after Firi and H6 tag Nico’s ship, they should begin tracking Clare and Badim’s comlinks and make their way to Hanger 48-D. They should see a ship leaving the hanger at dock speeds (low), then tag it and return to the rest of the crew to try and repair the sabotage Clare had done to the ship’s engines.

(Everyone will suspect Dex, but then SAMM will come online and tell them that it was, in-fact, Clare who did the sabotage. They will feel more betrayed and see her as an enemy (For the time being). Any questions you have, go ahead and shoot me a PM or post up in the assessment room)

The speeder took off with Clare and Badim on it.

"Did she just---" Tseneca sputtered

"Yup." Lucas responded.

"And they--"

"Uh-huh"

"But we---"

He threw his hands up, enraged. "I know!"

By then, The others had caught up to them, and without a ride, they began to put as much distance between them and the bank as possible.

"Do we have any idea where Firi and H6 went?" Dex asked, tseneca had a feeling he was more concerned for Firi's welfare than anything else.

"Central docking bay." Kyp grunted, following them closely. "We have to hurry."

"Central docking?" Tseneca felt the color drain from her face. "That's where Nico's ship is... They can't possibly--"

"I dont think they mean to take Nico on themselves, I have a feeling its out of their control." Lucas closed his eyes for a second, feeling for the Angel and the droid. "Their being backed down, in Nico's ship..."

"Well, hurry then!" Tseneca spat.

We have to get Firi and H6. Firi is going to have used slight of hand to tag the inside of Nico's ship while they were being ambushed.... then we'll try to find Badim and Clare, only to be too late (much like han in slave 1 at the end of ESB), and manage to tag the ship then we'll go back to the Blight Leaper.

(H6-32)

H6 had made minor repairs to his motor core, making his arms a bit more steady, but he still couldn’t move his legs. He still had problems with his Translator Matrix, however. “Shurflas: Skaterkst Kterskt, Firi!” H6 blurted as he spoke in a rough variant of the Tusken dialect. Simply meaning, unintelligibly: Statement: Horrible Danger ahead, Firi! as he pointed out Nico and her minions and began to fire his blaster shakily.
Kolsh: Kalsh shelasha dookodo!” he yelled as he then spoke in Selkatha. Firi seemed to constantly stare at H6 with a curious look as he spoke in the multitude of languages. He pressed Firi down into her seat as another wave of blaster bolts came over their heads.

With a satisfying click in his head, he stated, “Statement: I have made temporary repairs to my Translator Matrix. Suggestion: I ask for you to leave while I cover you, they take me as a far greater threat than you.” he said in an almost boastful tone. She counted to five and then rushed to the end of the gangplank, he watched her as she went, watching her trip near the end of the ramp, placing a hand on the bulkhead to balance herself. She ducked as another blaster bolt soared over her head.

When her hand was removed and she continued to run, H6 spotted a small tracking device tucked into a crevice in the ship’s hull. Cleaver Organic, he contemplated as he turned back to Nico and continued to fire.

Let me know if that’s alright with you, Jess. If not I’ll just make a quick edit.

"We don't have much time," Nico hinted to her green comrades. The mini-cargo freighter Nico had rented out of Ryloth would serve as the bridge between her, and the recently repaired Khan. "Set up the autopilot..." Vera unzipped the leather outfit, tossing the uniform into the recycler. In twenty seconds, it had been completely vaporized. She reset the recycler, using a lazor to remove any residue which might have given a hint to recent use. Next, she allowed a medic droid to begin her transformation. Large synthetic skin was applied around her face, then torso, and finally the rest of her body. Her hands nearly quadrupled in size, as the blue and green flesh tightened around her.

Large eyes were implanted, and electrical stimulation allowed them to look and move lifelike.

Nico's transformation into a Roonan, was completed by the time Union Security escorted her into a docking port. No doubt the pigs would search the vessel up and down, but her disguises were beyond the average costume. She bobbled towards the back of the vessel, where she greeted the frantic officers. "Sorry to stop you, we are flagging any kind of vessels that might be used to ferry a criminal off world. Are you the only one onboard?"

"Yes." Her vocal synthesizer answered, the high pitch matching the species. A specially concealed compartment had been arranged for Tisar and Sabr.

"Okay, this should be rather quick. We checked your records, and they are pretty flawless." The officer remained impatient, as though they had picked the wrong vessel, thus a complete waste of time. His eyes darted from left to right, though retreated backwards and into casual conversation with one of his subordinates. Nico felt relieved when the officers returned, their heads shaking. "All right, Mr. Kloondi, you're good to go. Safe travels to Corellia!"

"Many thanks, and humble gratitudes from my heart." Vera bowed as elegantly as she could, allowing the Denon patrols to exit the freighter. She walked to the cockpit, hitting the predetermined flight path.
The barabels emerged, Tisar inquired, "What about the droid?

Vera had forgotten about their artificial stowaway. A restraining bolt had de-powered the droid, allowing security's seach to be uninterrupted. She entered the hangar bay, looking at the droid with distaste. "Remove it." Sabr pulled the restraining bolt off, and instantly the droid came to life.

"Statement: You are Vera Nico, the desired-"

"Save it," she interrupted, removing the head piece of the costume, "Tell your crew to back off. I will resort to violence, and I will kill them." The droid blurted something, but she had walked behind the blast doors. Hitting the cargo bay doors, the droid was sucked into space, still riding inside the stolen speeder. Vera, however, returned to the bridge.

As the vessel made it passed the last checkpoint, she released her final message to the people of the Galactic Union. It would hit the holonet, and over time, generate trillions of views.

"People of the Galactic Union. I am Vera Nico. Tonight I have destroyed the Galactic Union Stock Exchange and the Politician Branch of the main bank. This was not an act of aggression, but a statement for and by the people. The Union has brought peace and justice, but it has only done so for the rich and the esteemed. The working class still suffers. It bends and breaks under corporate pressure. You sweat and toil under conditions that are fitted to be nothing more than slaves. You are tired, you are starving, you are young, you are old. Your hearts are beating healthy, but unfulfilled. You are told of triumphs, you are told of success. Yet you do not witness them. Miracles happen in different ways, like the gift of life. And in this mission, I have insured that not a single was taken from you. I made a bold statement, with no one killed for the cause, but the financial pockets of the rich and famous. Tonight I do not call you to arms, nor do I call you to action. I ask that you watch, that you listen. The binds of tyranny will only give a shattered hope."

The freighter fired a succession of missiles, and in the brief moment, formed V.N. before jumping into hyperspace...

Vera Nico has left Denon, and is enroute to Ryloth.

(H6-32)

H6 flew into the blackness of space, his audible-receptors went silent as the air in the cargo hold of Nico’s ship rushed out. First, due to the loud explosion that came when the doors opened, the second one, was when he began to float. He used his arms to hold himself in his seat, and not to wander too aimlessly in space. He watched as Vera’s ship fired missiles into the space around him, forming a V.N. with their gray smoke trails, until the solar winds took them into the depths of the black.

H6 found this quiet moment…unsettling. He preferred the soothing sounds of blaster fire coming close to his head, and not getting damaged by it. He looked down to his torso section, his photo-receptors in night-vision mode; Full Spectrum Enhancement. He saw the gapping hole in his midsection, faint sparks and electrical currents flying around him, even though they were short-lived in this hostile environment, they were borderline… soothing. He reached for the seat and began to take buttons off the seats again.

He collected fifteen buttons, a few wires and circuit boards from the speeder to make temporary repairs. Most parts weren’t compatible with his systems, and he just blatantly tossed them aside, pondering them for a short time as they floated in the vacuum. He replaced the wires in his Emergency Transponder and activated it. He couldn’t hear it hum, but heard the radio pings within his sensors. He examined his power indicator: 5.321 PERCENT POWER - - - 4.731 PERCENT POWER

He didn’t have much time left before his damaged power cells shut him down; his transponder would continue to run, but he’d be without thought for as long as it took for Master’s friends to retrieve him… if they retrieved him at all.
4.3152 PERCENT POWER, he pondered. He began to look around, and at the planet that had been his home for some time. In an attempt to occupy himself, his vision quickly blurred with information on the planet below:

Sara ran with the others as they went to Central Docking, as Kyp and Tseneca had put it. Sara could feel her body trying to give up and rest, but the adrenaline that coursed through her wouldn’t allow it and pushed her to continue. Her heart pumped, as with the rest of the crew, as they feared for their friend and Badim’s droid...mainly their friend. They pushed past crowds of gathering people and came across the hanger and Firi. As the others pressed to see if she was alright, Sara looked, seeing Nico’s ship escape and fly into space. Gone. She shook her head and followed the others, happy to see Firi wasn’t harmed.

It didn't take long to figure out that Clare and Badim had never made it to Nico's freighter, and Lucas was beginning to fear the worst. What if Nico had shot them down, and they were buried at the very bottom of Denon's undercity. They could be badly injured, or worse... Lucas coiled the thoughts in his mind, wrapping them deep beneath the Jedi exterior. He didn't want to sound worried or let the fear get the best of his emotions.

"Where's Badim and Clare?" Tseneca spoke aloud what many people were thinking.

Firi shook her head, her attention momentarily shifting to Dex, where the two had met a long gaze. Lucas, on the otherhand, had ignored Jonas, and avoided direct eye contact. Tseneca called into the comm device, yet there was no response. "Well, we can try and trace it." Lucas answered, "I'll need to use the Blight Leaper."

"I'll do a couple of flybys, see if I can't locate anything," Master Durron had offered, but Lucas could tell that maybe, or perhaps just the fact that everyone was on edge, there was something more to it. Putting the nudge of the Force to the back of his mind, Lucas bowed to the older Jedi, a sign of parting respect.

"Lucas and I should speak with the local authorities. Politicians, especially those rallied to radical causes may be quick to blame Kuat for this attack." Nico had always been the cursed daughter of their homeworld, and her constant assaults offworld have led to many unfortunate political debacles, "We each hold diplomatic immunity, so we wouldn't have to worry about getting arrested for charges of terrorism. And it would be prudent to clear our names. All of them." She looked around, yet the Clare had stolen a police speeder. It would be difficult to clear this entirely, but it might aide in tracking their current whereabouts.

Dex suggested, "We should get back to the Leaper, and count our losses. Maybe even switch hangars, or stay in a traffic lane."

Tseneca, in a low growling tone, "Nico." Lucas just recalled the information about Fink, and the rather emotional appeal, or attack, she had made against Tseneca. It was interesting, and the colors beneath her typically calm complexion revealed the true nature of her feelings. Tseneca was actually dangerous, perhaps the most he had ever seen of her. Lucas put that on the backburner as well, taking leave with Alisson to clear their names .

His mind wondered to the boy who didn't speak anything...

Clare kept hearing the engine whine as it tried to start, then it just stopped. The pilot began to exclaim throughout the ship, Frak! Not now! a pause followed, then an abrupt continuation, Hey! Get your ass up here!.
She stepped towards the cockpit as the man fought over the controls, trying to get something to work. He shot a glare at her and then asked crudely, “Yah know any friends who might barge in?”
“A few,” she replied, then asked, “Why?”

The pilot pointed out the cockpit window. Clare followed the finger and saw Tseneca, Diann, Dex and Firi approaching the ship cautiously, probably thinking Clare and Badim were both in trouble, thinking it was a hostile situation. Frak, I thought I’d have more time, she muttered in her head. “You keep working on the repairs, I’ll deal with them.”
She stepped out of the cockpit and lowered the boarding ramp then stepped onto the duracrete flooring, she turned to Tseneca, who began to lower her blaster as she calmed down.
“What are you four doing here?” she vaguely asked, trying to keep her cover.
“Looking for you guys. We got a transmission from Badim, but then it cut out. We came to see if you two were okay.”

Clare crossed her arms and leaned against the ship‘s hydraulic piston, “Yeah, we’re fine,” she said, biting her lips.
Tseneca crossed her own arms as the others calmly holstered their own blasters. “Why did you two come here? We thought you were going to find Nico.” she asked with a sly smile, thinking something was happening inside the ship with the two. Before Clare could answer, they all heard the pilot yell over the starting engine, “Got it! Come on get on!

“Clare, what’s going on?” Tseneca asked, reaching for her blaster.
Clare shook her head and angled her hand to reach for the stun blaster, “Badim and I are taking a little trip, that‘s all.”

“Clare, where’s Badim?”

Clare reached for her blaster and began to fire at the group, purposely aiming towards the ground to not harm or disable them. They jolted and pulled their blasters out to retaliate as they jumped to avoid the stun bolts. Clare pressed a switch and the ramp ascended back into it’s slot. “GO!” she yelled to the pilot as she heard blaster fire begin to ping and echo against the hull of the freighter. The pilot didn’t argue and hit the accelerator, it took a moment for the ship to rise off the ground and retract it’s landing gear, but it got into the air all the same. Among the blaster fire, she thought she heard a larger ping, as if something just clung to the ship, but she ignored it and went to the ship’s makeshift brig. She saw Badim, still unconscious. She placed a hand on one of the bars and quietly whispered, “I’ll make this right…”

Sorry about this guys, but...

Clare had fired on the group, Tseneca lifted her feet accordingly, the smell of ozone filling the air and singing the tips of her shoes. They were stun bolts, but it made little difference. The hatch closed in front of clare as Tseneca shot wildly at the hull.

"Son of a--" She didn't stop to think, but reached for the tracer she had placed in her pocket earlier. She ran as the ships trusters fired, The ship hovered low as it began to take off. The others continued to shoot at the ship.

"What are you doing!?" she heard Jonas yell over the whine of the engines.

Truthfully, gaining enough speed to plant the device, all without getting fried by the ships afterburners would be a leap of faith. Tseneca took it. She charged around the side and forward, looking for the space on the underbelly that would hold the device without letting it be burned off by atmo. She jumped as the ship rose steadily, hoping it would keep departure speed long enough for her to take care of it.

Catching a fingerhold on the side, she hoisted herself over, bracing her right foot against the beveled corner of a maintenece hatch. Thats what she had been looking for. The ship rose higher, and she could hear the others below, still shooting, and yelling. She fought to keep her place against the durasteel hull, clinging for all she was worth against the heat of the afterburners and the displaced take-off winds plummeting into her. With careful aim and a yell, she tossed the device into the hatch corner where her foot was resting. Then, as the ship rocketed, she let go.

She couldn't have been more than fifteen feet up. All she could do was... feel... as she fell backwards. It took longer than she expected, the falling. she concentrated, forcing herself to enter the centerfold of the force, trying to buoy herself up, trying to catch herself. Then, satisfied that she'd done all she could to try, she reigned herself and braced for impact.

I think this works. i wanted a little adventure to follow up my rancor take-out at oxanna. hehe.
