The Financial Promenade was one of the most beautiful places she had ever witnessed, despite the artifically enhancement made by technology. She walked the long and peaceful trek, preferring to close the mile gap between her and the man waiting. The events on Nar Shadda were unfortunate and it had cost her an honorable man. The trandoshan wouldn't talk, and even if it had, the information would only lead them here.

After Denon, the man was worthless. He'd get next to nothing for the bounty. And with Morgan out of the picture, she was home free. Except, for the boy who had joined the Blight Leaper. Even if Morgan exchanged the information she had given him, her attack was general. Timing wasn't definite. A Denonian dragonfly crossed her path, it's elegant wings beating at a rate, that defied physics. She extended her fingers, allowing the insect to perch itself, before it took flight into the sun light.

When she landed on Denon, she had taken a new identity. A school teacher, to be exact. She had arranged for a field trip, only, the "kids" were droids. At a small window of opportunity, reserved for politicians both onworld and off, the Financial HQ would close, but this educational visit, had been a small loophole granted by the district security advisor.

"Ah, Mrs. Ramrizza!" the bank representative exclaimed, her attire of a blue dress, with speckled stars and a large blonde wig dropping just below her breasts. "We are excited to welcome you to the Promenade, I noticed you took the long way in?"

"I wanted to view the scenery, pick out a great picnic spot for the children." Nico blushed, "You are much more handsome in person, Mr. Dabbola." The man shuffled his feet, he was slightly pudgy around the middle of his torso. He wasn't used of these kids of compliments.

"Er, uh," he stammered, but dropped back into business, his complexion a bright pink, "The children enjoying their stay?"

"Yes, thank you."

"I see, we have considered moving your appointment to general hours..."

Nico, resisting the urge to fold her arms, acted sympathetic, "The children had wanted to get a sneak peak at the Governor of Alss. They'll be very disappointed I'm afraid, but business is business." Her finger touched the man's upper body, in a casual gesture of understanding.

"No, no. I'll see what I can do." The man chuckled, handing Nico the coveted security pass. "This will allow you to enter during the appointment times, but contact us immediately should you lose it."

"That shouldn't be necessary. Do you have the two chaperone passes as well?" She needed her barabels to be allowed inside, if this would be pulled off without a hitch.

"Of course," he handed them over, "Thank you for meeting me, I will see you at the front entrance?"

"Until then," Nico kissed him on the cheek, shortly after their embrace. She took the walk back, the hover and security personnel not bothering to stop her. If only they had known what was coming...

The Politician Branch had been a spectacle of modern day greed and tainted relations of perverted men and women. The bank had provided a tumultuous amount of funding for suffering and sanctions for actions all over the galaxy, under the guise of justice and diplomacy. Vera Nico, disguised as Mrs. Ramrizza, a leading schoolteacher pioneer hailing from the dark clutches of Nar Shadda's underworld, appeared sharply at eight am. Her heels met the pavement with the signature tap, tap, tap made with each step.

A small group of twenty youth walked behind her, chatting innocently and laughing. Only they weren't children, but full grown aliens betrothed to her cause. Dedicated applications of make-up and artificial altering, had suited them for the duty ahead. Tisar and Sabr were already positioned inside the Stock Exchange, posing as delegates from their homeworld.

The chief of security stopped her at the door, and it had been the first time she had noticed an unusual amount of guards present, certainly more than posted on average, "Forgive me, Mrs. Ramrizza. Do you mind if we rescan your biological make up? We need to insure you are not infact, a Miss Vera Nico. We had a tip last night, and well, for security sake.."

"Of course, be my guest. I wouldn't want the children harmed in any way, gods themselves couldn't rest my soul, should anything happen to them!" Nico toyed with a southern district accent. The man stepped closer than she would typically allow, onions and radish lingering on his breath as he pinched a random spec of her skin. Moments later, the device flashed green.

"You're good to go. Please enjoy your stay, and let me know if you need anything!"

"Why thank you," she fanned her face, concealing the smirk of victory...

Badim walked next to Clare, they had remained quiet towards each other since their moment had passed. It was uncomforting towards Badim, this woman they were going up against was extremely crazy and unpredictable. He might not see Clare again. The entire crew, save Firi and H6, began to split into the organized teams as they came to the bank. Badim looked to Clare, and he saw time slow for a moment. His adrenaline pumped at the sight of her, doubled-tripled with the impending assault. He saw her hair flow in a slight breeze that stirred, her clothes swayed as she walked.

He reached for her arm and stopped her. She looked to him with the same glowering eyes she showed just a mere half-hour ago. “Clare,” he began softly, “We both don’t know where this attack is going to lead, some of us might not come back.” He trembled slightly as he reached for her hands. He clasped it and held it with emotion as he continued, “I just want you to know I-” Before he could finish, Clare had already come up and began kissing him. Time continued to slow down even more as their arms and hands wrapped around each other. It seemed as though they’d always be in this emotional state, stuck in this moment for all of time. Until they were brought back to reality with Lucas commenting, “Come on, you two can get a room later!”

They separated and continued down, holding each other’s hands for as long as possible, until they both had to follow their teams.

Quick post. I'll get some more detailed stuff up maybe tomorrow or Friday.

Kyp raced out of the Blight Leaper as he threw his cloak over his shoulders. His boots made a loud clap on the duracrete as he came up to the Vigilance. Speed was of the essence and Kyp had the fastest ship. He wasn't going to put it to waste. Using the force Kyp slid open the cockpit and hopped in, closing it once his bottom hit the seat. Taking no precautions Kyp only gave the Vigilance a foot or two clearance off the landing pad then pushed the forward throttle to it's peak. Like a shot Kyp was off leaving only a scorch mark where the Vigilance's engine's wash had made contact with the duracrete.

Kyp didn't bother with the traffic lanes. They'd only slow him down. Once he was up to a safe altitude Kyp powered the forward deflector shields to full and cut through the Denon wind like a hot knife through butter. Nico was going to have one hell of a time getting away this time.

Politician Private Lounge and Branch

"Relax and stay a while, while we take care of your finances."

The Politician Branch had reminded him of Kuat, where luxury had been in abundance, which was rather rare on Nal Hutta. Even the long passed Palace of Jabba the Hutt couldn't compare the lush accessories provided by the economic behemoth of the Galactic Union. Jonas, alongside Clare, Diann, Alisson and Dex, entered the main lobby. Alisson had persuaded the attendance representative that she was acting on orders from a member of the Royal Family of Eriadu, and that she had arrived to move a considerable sum into a new account. The identification process, surprisingly, cleared her.

Her knowledge of political doings and happenings across the galaxy was... handy, to say the least. Jonas could feel the anxiety in the team, pulsing through each of their bodies as they scouted the long, prestigious lounge. Politicians bickered about events, amendments, and legislation that would bore the average joe. One thing that had stuck out, had been the fiery blaze of Dex's crimson hair.

"Do you see anything?" Jonas whispered to Diann.

"Not a thing out of place." She breathed, smiling to the nearest guard as she spoke through her teeth.

They stopped, the bank's representative taking leave and disappearing between double force-fielded doors. Alisson leaned in, "I actually, didn't think this would work. It seems Nico has a tweaked their identification process. Anybody can get in."

Clare looked around, "Yeah, well, I didn't spot any children on our way here, you think we have disinformation? Or the even correct time?" The group debated the situation, passing new questions, and rebuttals of thoughts before the representative reappeared.

"Madame Elias, we have the account ready for your adjustments." His voice was tender, as though cooing to a child. Jonas rolled his eyes, thinking this was way too easy. But the fact was, as Alisson had explained, the bank had become too overconfident in their security identification system.

"I won't be adjusting the account. I was sent here to ensure the bank has kept our resources well financed and protected."

"Of course, mi'lady. Anything for the Royal Family of Eriadu." He bowed his head, his fingers gliding over the information, "Please, stay a while, rest, and enjoy yourselves. Let me know if I can get you anything."

While the conversation continued, Alisson downplaying her involvement with the royal family, Diann leaned in, and whispered, follow along. She cleared her throat, "Excuse me, while Elias remains pleased at the status of our beloved royal accounts, we were told of the privacy this particular branch enforced. Yet I have heard rumors that children will be making an appearance? And we," she shot Jonas a look, "Do not favor the immature interaction brought forth by such, annoying youth." Her accent was well placed, Jonas nodding and flipping his head to the side as though tempered by the fact mentioned.

Clare jumped in, "Come now, the man has been kind enough. I'm sure he wouldn't allow children inside to pester you. Not that you would not deserve it...."

The representative went extremely pale. "I must beg your pardon on this issue, but from the CEO himself, we have extended the courtesy to a youth group, in fact, some of those occupying the lobby have been asked to partake in an informal meet and greet. Speaking and giving inspiring words to such young, and precious minds. Surely you can understand this is simply a coy public relations stunt? It won't last very long, we are told."

Alisson didn't seem to understand the facade, but in a dark voice said, "Leave us, immediately."

The representative dismissed himself, Alisson's eyes tracing along her companions, when she continued, "All right, so it's today." The group settled into their positions, but she could tell the humans were tense. Their postures and hesitation to speak, had suggested anxiety, perhaps even fear in some cases. Except for Dex. She had reasoned that he had been experienced to this type of occasion, perhaps many times over, in his line of work with Drekka the Hutt.

"What should the plan be?" Jonas asked, "I mean, we know we're supposed to rescue the children, but we don't exactly have any weapons, nor really any proof. We'll be escorted out in a heart beat, before we can do anything about it."

Clare shrugged, "We steal their weapons." Her head dipped at the guards positioned strategically throughout the compound.

"Are you nuts?!" Diann hissed, her voice much lower.

Clare laughed, "I don't mean take it from them, more like, removing their weapons after Nico's agents have killed them. We'd be borrowing them."

Alisson turned her head, clocking over thirty six bank employees. Twenty five were armed, six were drink servers, and five were accountants behind the blue hue force fields. "We'll just have to wait and see." In a quick reflex, she nabbed a drink from a passing server, thanking her with a polite smile, before sipping on the cool liquid. "What? We need to blend in." That, and alcohol wouldn't phase her Human Replicated body.

Galactic Union Stock Exchange

"Trade with comfort."

Lucas had entered with Master Durron, the fact that they were Jedi, and Durron a respected figure, allowed them to keep their lightsabers. Badim and Tseneca, on the otherhand, had entered unarmed. Getting them weapons, would be tricky, but not impossible. The room was packed with members from all over the galaxy, and with so many green races, meant it was difficult to locate the barabels they had engaged at Iego. Lucas tried to send his mind out with the Force, but the constant bumping and rummaging kept him distracted.

"Greed is on everyone's mind," Master Durron mumbled, Tseneca and Badim approached, after entering from the East side. "It'll be difficult to pick Nico out this way."

"Anything?" Tseneca asked, her eyes scouting about the room. For Lucas, capturing Vera Nico would bring about mixed emotions on Kuat. To the ruling and upper class, she was well hated and despised. But to the vast majority of the average citizens, she was a saint and hero. Yet, to Tseneca, it was a thread to a lost love.

"Nothing yet, but we still have a lot of ground to cover." Lucas answered, putting his arm around the woman, "Don't worry, we'll get the information you need, one way, or another."

Kyp eyed each bystander that they passed. Everyone seemed to be up to the normal run of mill business. Business. It bothered Kyp that millions if not billions of credits flowed through this place everyday. Unfortunately their current approach wasn't going to get them anywhere. Besides being neck deep in all kinds of species, they could only see so much of there area. Holoscreen banks, easily fifty feet tall, dotted the floor of the stock exchange. On each one numbers and letters slowly scrolled downward. It was amazing that this chaos kept the galaxy running.

Kyp turned back to Lucas and the group who were having trouble moving through the crowd, "Think we should try our luck with the security folks?" With his finger he pointed to one of the many cameras in the enormous room. "They've got to know how many barabels have entered the building in the last hour or so." Kyp was hoping that they were stupid enough to be caught on camera. Highly unlikely but worth the shot.

Alisson made sense on blending in. She followed her example, but picked a drink with less alcohol in it and sipped while she eyed the Lounge‘s patrons. She eyed one of the bodyguards in the corner, he held a large blaster rifle, it glimmered. Either he took care of his weapon well or it was brand new. She glanced at his eyes, they were wide and very cautious, scanning and darting about the room. He was scared. With Alisson tipping security off about Nico, it seemed that everyone was on edge. The man, however, was extremely nervous. He might be new to be that scared. Possibly new to the job, hired and suddenly told that Nico might attack.
“Some of the guards don’t look like they’re ready for this kind of thing,” She whispered to Alisson through her glass. Alisson slowly turned to the guard Clare was looking at. She just nodded slightly to note Clare’s worries.

Badim wondered what Lucas could be talking about with Tseneca. He assumed Fink, it could be something else, though, but he figured he’d learn about it sooner or later. He felt bare, almost nude in a sense without his E-11. He looked around at the faces within the Stock Exchange, aliens and humans both argued at the rising and lowering stock. Looking for the most money while loosing the least amount of it. They all screamed each time a number on the screens lowered, while a brief calm and peace would follow when the number rose again, it was still loud in either case.
"Think we should try our luck with the security folks?" With his finger he pointed to one of the many cameras in the enormous room. "They've got to know how many barabels have entered the building in the last hour or so."

Badim shrugged, “They would probably know,” Badim resorted while he glanced at the camera Kyp was pointing to, “But then again, they might tell us to buzz off, that it’s None of Our Business.”

“But for all intended purposes,” Badim said as he returned his view on Kyp, “Be my guest.” He finished jokingly.

Badim turned and saw a small corner covered in shadow. He moved to it as though it was familiar territory. Which, in-fact, was. He hid in the shadows a lot back on Nar Shaddaa; waiting for his target to come by or to stalk a location. He covered himself in the blackness and continued to spy on the room. His comlink beeped silently, “Yeah?” Badim asked.
“Any luck on your end?” Clare asked.
“Nothing on Nico or the Barabels. But we’ll keep you posted.” He quickly clicked the comlink off, as heartfelt as he was towards her, he needed to keep his head here. Looking for Nico.

“Anything on Nico, Clare?” Diann whispered.
Clare just closed her eyes for a moment and grasped the comlink in her hand before replying, “No, noth-” her comlink beeped, she quickly stowed it in her pocket and replied, “Excuse me.”

She got up, strolled casually to a window, pulled the device out of her pocket and began chatting to it in a hush voice. Diann’s thoughts began to wander, with no Jedi around to tap into her head, she thought towards Badim and her true identity as Sara Soto. She was almost convinced that Badim had good intentions to finding her and returning the locket that had to be taken for her life to live on. She still had no idea why he came to the decision to let her go five years ago. She closed her eyes and thought back to that night…

Five Years Earlier…

Her heart pounded after she heard the shot from downstairs. She feared for Shawn, her parent’s dear friend and her trusted Guardian. He’d done so much for her, letting her stay with him after her parent’s deaths, feeding her, and banning Dirod from returning to his Cantina after trying to sleep with her.
Her instinct’s kicked in and she ran for the blaster she’d bought just this morning. She fumbled with the DC-17 pistol and pointed it at the door just as it was kicked open. She fired several shots as she saw the white hooded assassin dive for cover.
“Get out!” she yelled in anger.
“There’s no use, Sara! Just give up!” he replied.
She fired three shots at the table he hid behind and yelled, “Never!”
She ran for the rooftop access door, opened it, slammed it shut and locked it to buy her time. She made it to the roof when she heard another blaster bolt fire, then she heard the door break under the assassin’s boot. She ran for one end of the roof, stopping just inches from the edge as she looked over. She thought about jumping, until she saw Shawn run out of the Cantina holding his limp arm.
“Wait!” The assassin yelled in pursuit, “I’ll strike you a deal!”
“No deal!” Sara shot back, “I’m not bargaining with an Assassin!”

He yelled the offer anyways, saying that Dirod wanted the necklace she had around her neck. It was the only thing she had left of her parents, a locket she got for her thirteenth birthday. She held back a tear as she replied, “It was a gift, why?”

“It’s the only bargaining chip you have to live, Urnath Dirod wants that as a prize, if I bring it to him, he’ll believe you’re dead.” He replied in an understanding tone of sorts .

She squeezed the locket and ripped it off her neck as he heard Shawn shout from below. She looked at it one more time before tossing it to the assassin’s feet.

She stared back at the assassin, who she would later call, Badim Soilding, and jumped for the speeder just below her.
“Are you alright?” Shawn said as she piloted the speeder with his good arm.
“…I’ll be alright…”

Present

Jonas shook her shoulder and asked, “You alright, Diann?”
She looked at him, then to Clare, still in the corner, “Yeah,” she said, “I’ll be alright…”

“It’s already here?” Clare protested to Candrog, she thought she would have more time before the ship got here.

“Yes, and the pilot is waiting for you and Badim to arrive.”

“I can’t leave yet. We’re on a mission with the crew we joined and if I leave, I’ll blow my cover.”

There was silence from the device as Candrog thought, “Then grab Badim and leave the first chance you get. No hesitations this time.”

“As you wish.” Clare finished as she deactivated the device and placed it back in her pocket.
She strolled back to the table and continued to sip her drink.
“Who were you talking to, Clare?” Alisson asked.

“A contact, I enlisted him to help find Nico,” she lied as she kept her upper lip in the glass, “He just called and said he hasn’t heard of anything.”

Alisson nodded and continued to drink.

Politician Private Lounge and Branch

The Financial Promenade was as peaceful as it could be, her feet hitting the soft path leading up to the front doors of the private lounge. Twenty-eight height-deficient bodies followed behind her, their feet lined in unison at first, much like an Imperial stormtrooper drill, but had quickly dispersed into childlike chaos. "Oh children, children!" Her voice similar to the popular singing nanny, Tari Toppins. "Gather around now, we are about to meet some very important people!"

The children were cloaked in what looked like school uniforms, a head piece coming from the back of the neck and covering a large portion of their faces, stopping just short of the mouth. As Vera Nico stepped up to the identification employee, a droid emerged, it revolved around her head, before going up, down and around her body. It flashed green and disappeared, behind the tellers' blue forcefield. "Welcome to the Politician Branch of the InterGalactic Bank of the Galactic Union, Miss Ramrizza."

Nico bent her knees gently, giving a curtsy, before ushering the schoolchildren through the cleared-opening. One by one, they entered. "All right, children, here we go... keep to your inside voices, and be polite!" One by one they went up to their designated politicians, Nico leaning up against a guard, using a voice that would appeal to the male ego. "So cute, aren't they."

"Yes, ma'am." Came the boy's response. He was younger than the average guard, probably entered the trade from an offworld academy, and transferred in. Her eyes scanned the perimeter, and surprisingly, they were two guards short of her estimate. One of the leading politicians, a representative of the second district of Denon, approached his arms wide open, though as he approached, his eyes grew wide and his mouth fell open.

"You are not Ramrizza!" He exclaimed causing the bodyguard next to her to turn and look into her eyes. It was now or never. She spun around locking her arms around the boy's weapon, her fingers twisting beneath the holster, pitching in three times, before it came loose. The second district judge had managed to make a full turnaround, his massive body flailing about and sending fear throughout everyone in the room. Vera let her elbow impact the boy's chin, choosing not to strike a fatal blow to the nose. The weapon was set on stun, and she kept it that way, sending the two nearby guards into a paralyzed state on the floor.

In complete unison to Nico's armament, the twenty-eight children threw off their cloaks, revealing a mixture of aged aliens and stunted humans. Large crowd-control weapons extended from their torsos as they fired into the lounge. No one would die today, but she'd get what she wanted.

A teller had set off the alarm, but careful planning had left it completely useless. She had disabled transmissions to the outside world. Nico shed her schoolteacher uniform, a tight black leather uniform with white initials V.N. revealed her true identity. As she approached the teller, the man whimpered, "How can I help you, Miss Nico?"

"I'll be making a withdrawal today, Mr... Neill." She leaned in to get a look at the man's nametag, "I know you, Neill."

"How co-co-could you?" He stuttered.

Vera retrieved the reconnassince knowledge she had of him, "Sam Neill. I know where you live, that your daughter goes to Folaro Primary Academy for Girls... that your wife owns her own Flora Store, 'Anita's Rose'. It's a lovely shop, filled with her favorite roses, from the shores of Naboo, if I'm correct?" The man shook, his body unable to process the amount of information she had just laid on him, "It would best if you deactivated the forcefields. I need to get in there, Neill."

"I ca-ca-can't."

She shook her head, removing a device from her belt. With a single click, the blue hue disappeared. The man stumbled backwards, utterly terrified as Nico climbed over, her shoes hitting the floor just short of Neill's groin. "I can," she retorted, before looking back to her small companions, "Make sure each and every one of them are knocked unconscious. I should only be a minute." Her eyes returned to the portly teller, "Now, Mr. Neill. Please show me to vault 224, registered to Kuat. And this time, I hope you are much more cooperative..."

Politician Private Lounge and Branch

Clare heard the shots, but wasn’t surprised by them. She’d been playing blaster sounds of all variety in her head in anticipation of this moment so she would be phased when it happened. Nico slammed her elbow into the young guard’s chin, who she just mentioned moments ago. The boy laid on the ground, huddled in a fetal position, petrified of what was happening. For a moment, she visualized herself in that position, on Nar Shaddaa nine years ago. Huddled in a corner as the Death Order killed her parents, and possibly murdered her brother, Shen somewhere else. She couldn’t stop a small tear fall from her face as she thought back to how scared she was…

…A young Clare Velez was having the time of her life. Enjoying games with her parents and fifteen year old brother in their humble apartment. The faces were a blur to her, she couldn’t put features to them, she was just so young. Then the door slammed open and her father’s face turned from delight to anger and woe as the first shot was fired and impacted Clare’s mother in the chest. Shen disappeared completely, her brother had either fled or had gotten under the table to try to hide. Her father told her to run, while he ran forward and tackled one of the armed men to the ground and started punching. She ran for her bedroom, slid out the window, and down to the ground while landing on her bottom with the wind knocked out of her. She ran for a corner in the alley and slid an empty box in front of her and hid. Nothing she could do, but hold back tears and whimpering until after the men had left…

She shook her head and vaulted over her cover.

Politician Private Lounge and Branch

Screams erupted around the Private Lounge, as stun bolts surged throughout the room. Alisson pulled him to the floor, the rest of the gang hitting the deck just a fraction of a moment later. This was it, adrenaline prickled all over his body, causing the hairs on the back of his neck to stand on end. His eyes surged open, his fingers tracing over the floor, his brain trying to find anything he could use as a weapon, but he didn't even see the attackers. Who were they?

A small child, one of the poor kids being used as a diversion, ran over. He had just made out the tiny size shoes to know that it was kid looking for refuge, "Psst!" Jonas called out, "Over here!" The child, who at first must have not noticed them, emerged with a large stun blaster protruding from the palm of his left hand. The stunted face of a middle aged human, only a quarter of the normal size, stared at him in the face. Frak. Its tiny hand squeezing the trigger.

What happened next, Jonas wouldn't be able to explain. Alisson had shifted the weight of the table, flipping it over, and shielding them from the blast. As it impacted against the table, it surged forward, pushing all of them against the smooth floor. Another blast sent them another dozen feet, before Alisson leaped over the amateur barrier.

Jonas breathed, Dex mumbling something to himself, as Clare remained rather focus. She counted to five, before leaping over. Dex was next. Diann looked over, both getting a good look into each other's eyes, before they joined the fray on the otherside.

Alisson had disabled five of the small assailants, twenty of them now scrambled throughout the long lounge. "DO YOU SEE THAT!" Alisson called out, yelling over the incoming stunblasts.

"Yeah, they're not trying to kill us!" Jonas answered, somewhat relieved.

"NO!" Clare shot back, "THAT!"

Jonas peered around the corner, and just behind where the teller's blue forcefield had separated them, three little people had armed a massive explosive. Two seconds later, one had activated a strange klaxon. Sirens exploded around them, with an automated voice transmitting, "WARNING BIO-HAZARD DETECTED. EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY" in multiple languages.

"We need to disable those bastards and get these people out of here, that thing is going to blow in five minutes!" Alisson called out. Jonas wasn't sure how the hell she read that from here, but he took her word for it. Clare turned her weapon to the nearby glass, and shot until a large enough hole existed, shouting "GO, GO GO!" to the mobile politicians. Jonas looked at the forty or so that had been disabled, laying flat on the floor.... Shit.

GO, GO, GO!” Clare shouted to the flailing politicians as they scrambled towards the opening she’d opened for them. She heard about the bomb and began counting the time down in her head. Four minutes Fifty-four seconds. She dove for one of the politicians on the ground and checked his pulse to be sure. Faint, but there. She looked at the man’s eyes, they were spread wide open, straining to scan around him. She yelled over the stunblast's deafening noise to another scurrying politician, “Help him!” She yelled. The man looked at her, then seemed to ignore her as he ran out the building though the hole she made. She gritted her teeth and held back a curse, she should have expected as such from one of their kind.

Clare looked around, chaos ensued around her. Four minutes Forty-one seconds, she counted off. She starred back at the man as he tried to look at her, but failed in his paralyzed state. They needed help. She reached for her comlink and keyed Badim. “Badim!?” she yelled into the device, only static followed. She primed her arm to throw it, but exhaled and replaced it in her pocket as she stood up out of cover and fired the stun blaster at one of the miniature assailants. She hit it in the leg and watched it flail about as the numb feeling worked it’s through the creature’s body. She ducked back down and continued to count, Four minutes Thirty-six seconds.

Politician Private Lounge and Branch

The labyrinth of vaults underground rivalled the diversity of Geonosian catacombs. She had spent nearly six months planning this operation, her aides and political allies had accomplished lining the tasks into perfect succession. The disabling of the forcefields, the bio hazard alarm, the reassignment of guards on the lower levels, allowing her unassisted access to the vault. Her first stop was the main computer, Neill shaking as she accessed the terminal. Within a minute, she had downloaded a large portion of the archives.

"How di-di-did you do that?" He questioned, "It shouldn't b-b-be possible."

The leather glove wrapped around the device as she zipped it inside a breast pocket. "I have friends in delicate places. Places that make technology like this," she waved over the archive datasystem, "Look like outdated clone war-crap. Now, we have three minutes and twenty-two seconds, before the building above us, comes crashing down."

"You are going to ki-ki-killl all those people?"

Vera shook her head, "I'm not killing anyone, Neill. I'm bringing down a corrupted bank. The people deserve a financial institution that will support them, that will back them, in times of need. Not profitmongering and gain over general despair and recession!" They stopped in front of Vault 224, the real reason she had risked it all.

Vera reached to her belt and removed a device before applying it to the encryption pad. After a moment of silence, it hissed and the vault doors began to open. She waited, as ice and fog spilled over the floor. Neill, despite the fear, which had vigorously gripped his entire body, looked inside curiously. Vera walked the short distance to the center of the room, an ancient object hovered, supported by small tractor beams.

"It's beautiful." Neill said, dumbfounded.

Vera reached around, her fingers removing the device from the clutches of the safety field. "It is one of Kuat's favorite and most sought after treasures." She removed a protective pocket, the strange orb doubling in size, in order to envelop the treasure. She took care, when placing it near her heart. "It's worth a thousand moons, an entire system full of slaves or Telburns.... even a room full of kau'ta. Priceless." As predicted, she must have triggered a separate alarm system, three guards rounding the corner, their blasters drawn.

The shots echoed against the walls of the corridor as she back-flipped, her right hand drawing the short stunblaster, as she flipped over the initial round of shots. Her own weapon fired three times, and by the time she landed on her feet, the guards were immobilized. "Thank you, Neill. You have restored this great treasure to the people. I am sorry for what I have to do, but it is not safe for you to join me. Tell the people that I love them, that I am fighting for them. I call to arms insanity and justice, to bring the intolerable binds of tyranny to an end." In a swift dropkick, Neill fell to the floor, and a squeeze from her triggerfinger, brought him into a deep sleep....

Fighting the stunted humans had proven much more difficult than her processors had originally calculated. Their shots were well placed, and their ability to move and hide in locations, typically too snug or small, allowed them to enter and disappear from the fire fight with ease... By count, ten attackers remained, with four unconscious politicians at the base of the bomb. Alisson was about to engage, when the familiar black leather figure emerged. Alisson was in awe, the woman had caused so much, had taken such drastic and desperate measures, and all for what? As Alisson lined up a perfect shot, Jonas rose and bumped into her.

While the shot was not completely wasted, it making a hit on one of her "schoolchildren", Nico was able to slip out of the door, after blowing a kiss in their direction.

"Now is our chance," Alisson muttered, with only twenty seconds on the clock, "We need to get the remaining hostages, and get the hell out of here!"

Galactic Union Stock Exchange

With a minute to spare, before the Politician Branch, and the general headquarters came crashing down, Vera handed the artifact off to one of the small human aids, and in exchange, they handed her a replacement. Together, in groups of three, they dispersed. Her barabels, Tisar and Sabr were waiting in the Financial Promenade Gardens, the walk to the Stock Exchange building seemed much longer when the body was pumped with adrenaline.

"You get it?" A gruff man's voice extended from behind a lotus tree. The Chief of Bank Security stood, smoking a long cigar with a grin larger than the man could support.

"I did." She tossed the fake artifact to the man. "Am I good for the Stock Exchange?"

The man looked over the replica, his poor line of expertise couldn't tell it apart from the real thing. "Yeah, you're good. All lined up." Vera turned, but as she did, she heard the de-holster of the man's blaster. Before he could get a clean shot, Tisar skewered his brains over a nice patch of flowers with a blue bolt of energy. Sabr removed the replica from his dead hands, and the trio walked through the front doors of the Exhange. In a dramatic fashion, she raised her blast-rifle and shot a round into the ceiling.

In that moment, the entire market fell silent. One could hear a pen drop from the opposite side of the room, "Greetings, my name is Vera Nico. The market will be closing early today...."

Kyp approached the security office with haste in his step. He was no diplomat but he did have his own way with people. He had left the group out on the floor. Kyp wasn't sure if his choice was the best. The only two armed were himself and Lucas. Regardless Kyp was certain the group would find a way to arm themselves if need be. Ahead a husky man stood guard over the doorway in the back hallways. “Can I help you, Jedi?” he said with a tone that indicated he had a distaste for his kind.

“Yes you can. I need to speak to the man in charge of security for the building. I have reason to believe this building could come under attack,” Kyp said with a stern voice.

The man let out a gasp, obviously trying to annoy Kyp. “You want me to contact my superior because you,” the man put his hands in the air and curled his index and middle fingers back and forth, “sensed a disturbance in the force.”

The man must have he was a regular comedian. “I need to speak to whoever is in charge. I'd appreciate it if you'd contact him or her immediately.” Kyp crossed his arms and stood tall. One way or another he was getting into that hallway.

“Make me,” the man said, moving a little too close for comfort. He was easily twice Kyp's size and towered a foot over his head.

Kyp wasn't going to be delayed any further. Stepping back a foot, Kyp lowered his head and entered the guard's mind. Kyp made sure it was as painless as possible. In front of Kyp the man staggered and gripped his head.

“You son of a bit-” the guard's words were cut short by pain as he grit his teeth and reached out and grasped Kyp's robe. For an instant Kyp was worried he may catch a fist to the face as a last ditch attempt to stop the pain. The vice grip on his robe loosened and the guard fainted. Unconscious the guard fell hard onto the tiled floor.

Out of nowhere a shot rang out from the other side of the market. For a second Kyp thought the man had shot him till he looked down and checked himself. “Oh thank god.” Kyp muttered to himself. The market had grown completely quite in an instant. Kyp glanced around and noticed everyone's attention had been drawn towards the front entrance of the building. At least they weren't looking at him, standing over an unconscious guard. However regardless of his abilities in the force he knew something was wrong. His gut turned inside his body as he moved back into the crowd. He needed to find the group and fast.

Badim remained in the shadows as the blaster-bolt fired at the ceiling. He didn’t expect this much silence, he expected chaos and screaming, not silence. It made him think a little more about banks. Though, he would have to think on that later. He casually looked around for anything he could use to defend himself as Vera Nico announced, “Greetings, my name is Vera Nico. The market will be closing early today....".
He cursed his white cloak as he figured he wasn’t completely hidden within the dark shadows. But at least he was concealed for now. He slowly went to a crouch as the woman and her barabels carefully walked within the crowd.
Badim instinctively went for his knifes. He felt their sleeves fruitlessly, remembering the guards had taken them. He muttered to himself quietly and reached for the comlink, “Clare?” he whispered, trying to keep his voice as low as possible. He waited what seemed like eternity, and feared the worst when there was no reply. His eyes began to silently tear as his head dropped beneath his hood at the thought of what Nico could have done. He raised his head with fire in his eyes. He looked at the jump-suited woman with hate. With all that was happening, he could only assume Clare and the others were dead.
He calmed himself and repeated the Way of the Blade quietly:
“To mold the mind and body,”
“To cultivate a vigorous spirit,”
“And through correct and rigid training, To strive for improvement in the Way of the Blade.”
“To hold in esteem human courtesy and honor.”
“To associate with others with sincerity.”
“To forever pursue the cultivation of oneself,”
“And to stay one’s Blade from the Flesh of the Innocent.”

He waited, Kyp and Lucas would be here with their lightsabers and Force powers to give the group a chance…

Clare heard Alisson, and with the null in stunblasts, she hustled towards the man she was trying to help earlier. She grabbed his and another woman’s arms and began to pull them towards the hole, Nineteen seconds. She hauled the deadweights out the window to safety and ran back inside, Sixteen seconds. She rushed for one of the politicians below the bomb as Alisson did the same, they pulled the four towards the window, handing them off to Dex and Jonas and then making their way back to the bomb, Ten seconds. Alisson must have known there wasn’t much time left and began to tamper with the bomb as she waved Clare to grab another hostage. She followed her command, possibly her last and did as she said. Continuing to count down, Seven. She got the next woman out and then ducked over her as she counted off the number she feared, …One

OOC: I just assumed that Alisson would start to tamper with the bomb to either give them more time or disable it, seeing as the floor in the room is just littered with people, it'd be impossible to get them all out without tampering with the bomb. And seeing as how she's a robot, she'd be able to disable it.

Let me know if otherwise :D

Kyp shed his cloak and pulled his lightsaber from the clip. They'd never be able to fight the woman and her escort in this quagmire of people. Kyp took a large breath and cupped his hands around his mouth. For a second he wasn't sure what would get the crowd moving the best. Kyp screamed the first thing to come to his mind, "Bomb!". The yell stopped everyone dead again as one by one heads turned to Kyp. He yelled it again. This time it took effect with the first of many people turning to wade through the crowd towards the exit. One by one the current picked up, growing from a stream to a full grown river of people. The screams and yells were so loud they began to make Kyp's ears ring. The main entrance could only take so many people and they began to amass as the river slowly trickled out onto the promenade.

What was left after most of the people had left is what bothered Kyp. In the middle of the market stood Nico and her escort. He had been hoping they'd get carried away in the mess. However Kyp was equally grateful to see Lucas, Badim, and Tseneca still inside. A few guards began to run out of the back hallways where Kyp was headed before Nico had entered so gracefully. With a deft flick Kyp's lightsaber sprung to life. This woman was the cause of all this trouble? A guard passed close by but was stopped by Kyp's outstretched hand. "Do you know where my friend's weapons are?"

The guard looked over Kyp and then down to his lightsaber, "Sure I do," he said.

"I suggest you go get them." Kyp called back as the guard returned towards the back rooms. "and keep your damn head down." Kyp had kept his gaze on Nico and the barabels. "You're move, chrome dome," a smirk formed on his face but quickly faded as he prepared himself.

Tseneca urged Lucas over to cover, Badim and Kyp were elsewhere, but they were unarmed. The stock exchange was in chaos.

"Lucas..." tseneca pointed upward to the platform. Nico was broadcasting an early closing to the stock exchange.

"Looks like she got what she came for... we have to stop her."

"No kidding. C'mon." She pulled him over to the side of the stock exchange, where they could get easy access to the elevated podium. Three security guards blocked the access stairway, The two took them out easily, taking hold of their weapons.

Just as they mounted the platform, Nico was preparing to flee.

"Stop there." Tseneca held her weapon point blank. Nico turned and smiled a sly smile...

I hope this works, im also a little confused as to what is happening. If I need to fix it, let me know.
