Physical Description: Phaeton is 5' 11" tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has a lean frame but carries some muscle. He has dark brown hair trimmed short and tussled. His skin is rather pale and his eyes are a vivid light blue. His standard garb is a long black robe that fits to his form and is slightly shorter than his legs. His robe is closed over his chest, but open around his legs. He wears black slack, black boots and red pauldrons fitted to the outside of his clothing. He carries two lightsabers cinched to his belt.
Summarized Biography: Little is known about Phaeton. Where he came from and what he did in his younger years remains a mystery. The only shred of knowledge most indifferent people can agree on is that his life has been one filled with violence. Stories flutter about that his parents were murdered in front of his eyes, that his only sister was kidnapped by the Empire, that he was subject to torture and pain. Some say he grew up as a petty thief, stealing from anyone he could find. Others say he was destined to be a great Jedi Master, but he succumbed to the Dark Side over the love of a woman. Many citizens of the worlds speculate, but only the most elite Sith know the true story.

Phaeton was a young boy when he had lost both his parents not to murder, but to war. His humble home was soon under attack, and his entire family was casually gunned down in the wake of the incurring onslaught. Most of Phaeton's memory escapes him, but the sole thing he remembers about this specific event was that a soldier of the Empire was responsible for giving the orders to "clear out the rebel scum." After the traumatic loss of his family, Phaeton was taken as a prisoner of war. Though only fourteen, he was not spared the cruelty of the inquisiting soldiers who suspected he was a spy. After he was wrongly tortured by insubordinate soldiers, he was kept as a prisoner for ten years with others like himself, locked away for suspected treason against the Empire.

In his cell he brooded. His emotions stirred and his anger took control. In a blind fit of rage he lashed out at the solid door keeping him hostage, thinking of how he could blast the door to smithereens and escape. To his surprise, the door did just that, shattering into countless pieces. His mind felt like an inferno, and it was then he had discovered his ability to harness the powers he was unknowingly born with. Soldiers came to examine the situation, and the first few that arrived were met with unseen forces hurling them against the walls. Phaeton proceeded to fight his way through his captors, crushing their bodies in what he felt was the most triumphant thing he had done in his life thus far.

Phaeton had managed to escape his holdings, now at the age of 24, and did his best to lie low. His emotions got the better of him though, and it wasn't long before thoughts of his incinerated family entered his now warped head. He sought vengeance on the men who robbed him of his life, and at one point even had formulated a plan of attack on a small soldier battalion. However, unknown to him, someone else had their eye on him. Before Phaeton could enact his plan, he was taken against his will by a mass of the very soldiers he had come to despise.

He was brought before a man in dark robes, with pale, withered skin. The seemingly elderly man before Phaeton seemed pleased with the youth's arrival. Phaeton was thrust on the floor before the robed one, after being shocked and incapacitated. It was then that he was offered a very high position in the ranks of the Empire. His hatred and lust for vengeance had soon engulfed him entirely, and Phaeton had begun to kill anyone he suspected of being in league with the Empire, regardless if they were guilty or innocent. He was blinded by hate, and wanted nothing more than to lay waste to anyone who would oppose him. This was exactly what the Empire was looking for.

With promises of harnessing his godly powers, and after a pain-staking training regiment, Phaeton was officially made a Sith Lord, and was given the title of Darth Anarch. His bloodlust and wanton destruction would soon make him a feared name over many worlds. He seemed to be a perfect engine of destruction and death, now aimed at all those who would stand against the Empire.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there seems to be some confusion about the time period. We're set in 41 ABY; if you'd met Palpatine, then you'd be at least sixty-one (assuming it was before his first death). Also, there are two Imperial factions.
