They're a list of required fields for any design. If any are missing from an design issue, it's denied by default for lack of information.

What do the designs absolutely have to have to go with the new battle setup?

If we're using VIII template as a base to edit from, listing Shielding would probably be a good idea. Also, is Top Speed for Hyperspace or something else that could be combined with Max Sublight (In which case Hyperspeed would be good). I'm wondering if Consumables is nessicary, or if there's a reasonable length that could be assumed unless it's noted that a design is supposed to go longer or shorter without resupplying.

You know what.... Makes sense :D I'll edit it.

What I mean't was that a player didn't want his/her PNPC anymore, and would hire me (Fake, of course) to get rid of it. On their permission and CMAC's permission.

But yeah, I guess someone would just unregister a PNPC. I'll edit it.

Since we're not using a massively complicated battlesystem, we don't actually need values for shield durability and hull points, but knowing what the stuff is made of will help CMAC determine possible courses of action.

I know that we're moving away from defined values and complicated equations, but perhaps CMAC can assign values behind the scenes based on the descriptions and stuff that the players provide when they make the actual design.

Failing that or perhaps to assist with it, you could promote an assistant to help with the designs so that CMAC doesn't have too much work to do.

The whole point is CMAC doesn't want to deal with hard values, even behind the scenes. :p

And ultimately, numbers don't solve the problem of player issues. All it does is create far more work and hand CMAC a billyclub. While, in some cases, a billyclub is needed... usually, a softer touch is needed. At least with the current system, we have a full range of options. And we're actually in talks now about a useful comparative system. We'll probably have you guys use that on templates for certain values (firepower, shields, armor).
