Their hardest landing yet, caused the Khan to dip slightly as they boarded, but it could've been a flux with the thrusters. Moving the ship away from the arena, Vera waved at the Republic woman below as she passed the vulnerable officer. Tempted to rotate the vessel and fry her on the spot, Vera knew that he chances of success were growing less with each and everything second she wasted down here.

The Khan's sensor mask and jamming systems had been disabled shortly before her arrival in the Corellian sector, along with the Static discharge port, and the backup hyperdrive. She attempted to contact two of her contacts, the first being Jallorn, and the second a man she knew very little about, but had chosen to respect. His corruption was minimal, and his words short, and elegant. Three Corellian escorts emerged at high speed, and a distance behind them, a small freighter and two shuttlecrafts.

It was difficult to tell what was following her at this point, but she decided that it was best to leave the paranoia behind. She was capable of dealing with any that followed her, and to ensure her odds, Vera typed a few commands into the ship's computer. Once she went to hyperspace, however, they weren't trackable...

"This is Corellian Border Control, please cut your engines, and prepare to be tractored to the nearest space port." the voice commanded, but she took no notice of any kind of authority.

Now, for her final contact. She dialed the secured line, attempting to reach his coordinates near the galactic core. "Fink, this is Nico. Do you copy? I am enroute for the Extrictarium Nebula." She repeated the phrase several times, before noticing the holo-transmitter had been damaged. The message sent, and was received by the freighter that was only a few moonlengths behind.

The Khan prowled over the freighter like a nexu to its prey. The ship vibrated, just barely, as the turbolasers shook from their positions to spray a violent attack run across the bow of the ship. Her fingers twisted, rolling with the trigger, as she targeted across their forward shield array. Her two officers, Sabri and Tisar, controlled two of the other cannons, allowing the Khan to unleash its deadly potential.

After three successful attack runs, the Khan shot in front of the freighter, allowing Vera to plant her next phase of the attack: Seismic Charges.

The Khan spiraled out of hyperspace and into the calm nebula of An'a. It was home to a space space merchant, black-market operations happened to be part of his specialty, and Vera was a welcomed face.

Her mission had failed, but she took heart in the fact that new opportunities would show themselves. She guided the Khan and landed within the asteroid's private shielding. She waited for the oxygen indicator to flash green before she lowered the ramp. The trandoshans were the first out of the vessel, their weapons blazing, though entirely unneeded.

Krex appeared, all four of his hands waving in delight, "Nico! What a wonderful surprise!" Most of his eyes glanced at the Khan, "Holy shit cakes, you really blew it to pieces. It looks like a lamb inside of a nexu nest!"

"Sorry, Krex. I just need the hyperdrive repaired; I'll pay you double than normal. I'm eager to get home."

He paced back and forth across the perimeter, “All right, all right. Come inside and grab a drink, you can tell your boys to put their toys down. I’m alone tonight. Pardon the droids.”

A protocol droid wobbled by, “How can I be of service, madam?”

"Three Corellian Sunrises, dark."

Krex laughed, "That bad, huh? Better make it four, 9PO."

The repairs on the Khan had taken several days, and her patience with the alien was beginning to take a dive. Though he was a loyal man, his constant need for discussion, brought Nico to the very bank of her tolerance level. Her palms would tense up whenever he approached a subject of Kuat, always fishing for information. She'd answer the question, providing the least amount of information as possible, before switching the subject back to her ship.

"We have to wait for the hyperdrive's conductor coil, I'm a little worried about the one you have now." His large body walked down the ramp of the Firespray class, as he wiped all of his hands with a large cloth, "It might burn up half-way to- say, you didn't mention anything about where you are going!"

The Nicodian was a small port she had discovered, far from anywhere or anything. It was a remote planet, the environment harsh and thick enough to shield from the average ship's sensors. It was her getaway, a place where she would be able to recollect and download the sensory details she had collected on Iego. The boy was Lucas Pallanén-Davad, son of the Leading Magistrate of Kuat. His friends, however, were new faces. New targets.

"I'm not really sure, actually." She lied to Krex, "I have a sister on Ryloth, I might visit her."

"Really, I didn't think you had a sister." He chuckled, now wiping the sweat that had accumulated on his forehead, "I'm going to rest, the part should arrive by a friend tomorrow." Nico didn't like the fact he had sent for a part without asking her. She watched the man go back into his shop, before she ran back into her ship. The barabels were tense immediately after her arrival.

"Whatsss wrong?" one of them asked.

Vera Nico looked at the Krex and his shop, before turning on her computer. She wasn't an expert, but his communications array was an easy hack. Overlooking the holocommunications, she loaded the last transmission.

"Yes, yes! Nico is here. Get all of them, you know how dangerous she is. I think she trusts me. I dunno how long I can keep her from leaving."

"Make something up. Sabotage her hyperdrive." It was a bounty hunter, one that Vera was well familiar with. He was hellbent on collecting Kuat's arrest reward.

She clicked it off, before downloading his entire array. She flicked on the weapon systems, and eyed the shop one last time. "Goodbye Krex," a simple whisper behind the activation of her ship's Borstel GN-40 twin blaster cannons...
