Kristopher had just barely heard the news that his brother was still missing, when he ran from the estate. He might've made it through Alisson's condition, but that was only because she was never really alive in the first place. But Lucas... Lucas was his brother, and something about him missing, just threw everything out of the window. He went to one of the best academies in the galaxy and graduated in the top of his class. He had the skills necessary to rescue him, and it was about time he started acting less like the kid his mother thought of him, and actually do something about it.

He had met Selena Krauss, and been a prisoner of war, and hell, if could survive through the Battle of Bespin with the casualties in the hundreds of thosands, he could track his own brother. "Repair yard seven." It was all he needed to say to the droid, before the shuttle shot off the deck and into the skies. The atmosphere broke across the ship, before the coldness of space sent goosebumps over his skin. It was refreshing and reminded him of his task at hand. The Blight Leaper was bigger than he thought it was, and it only took a threatening conversation with the repair yard chief to get him into the Leaper.

He was almost out of the cargo hold when he stumbled across a broken droid. It was an old H6 unit, something that his father would have loved to taken a look at. "All right, you old bucket of bolts. You might know something." It took the better part of an hour, maybe even three, before the lights flickered. "You alive?" Kris asked, not sure if the droid would try to kill him or not.

Two months. Two. Months. His internal clock showed he'd been deactivated in this damaged state for two months! His systems began to activate one-by-one, first was his central core an hour ago, then slowly over the next two hours he was brought into operating conditions and his optical and vocal systems were activated. There better have been a good excuse to him being stuck in this condition for two months.

"You alive?" An unknown voice said next to him, and with his programming doing the reactions, his hand snapped and latched onto the man's neck. To make the person regret ever reactivating him before his death, H6 turned his head towards the man, only to find that his own neck servo-motors have seized and made a horrid grinding sound.

"Query: Excuse me, organic. My neck servo-motors have... regrettably seized up." He used his arm to wrench the surprisingly light man in front of him, "Would you be so kind to repair me before I remove your vocal cords?"

H6's optical units zoomed in on the shocked and fearful facial features of the man in front of him.

"Assumption: Lucas? Is that you?" H6 tried to look around in a confused manner, but was reminded by the sound of grinding gears indicating him on his condition. "Or is my internal cloak incorrect and you are the offspring of Lucas Pallanén-Davad? Deduction: Judging by your age, my internal clock would be off by almost a one-to-one-hundred-and-eight ratio, if such a scenario was correct."

Kris laughed as the droid fumbled to understand the time difference since his last activation cycle. He adjusted the droid's servo-motors as it had requested. "Lucas is my brother, and judging by the chrono information, you've been deactivated for about two months, give or take a couple of weeks. The ship was damaged in the Battle of Bespin..." His voice trailed off as H6 began to move his arm much more fluidly than before. "That ought to do it. My father should really have a look at you.... you are something."

H6 moved about, but one could tell his legs were a little rusty. Figuratively speaking, of course. "What do you remember?" Kris asked, a little curious at when the droid shut off.

H6 stretched his arms and legs, it was rough though. A cable snapped here, a crack sounded there. He didn't feel any sort of pain like an organic, but he could see that he was in a deteriorating state and would likely need an overhaul once he found Master--

"Master?" H6 verbalized, but then fell silent in shock.

"You...mean my brother?" The youngling stated in confusion.

"No, not Pallanén-Davad. Master Badim Soilding, a crewmate on this ship. And forgive the incoming flow of words, youngling," H6 verbalized a synthetic intake of air and then shouted, "What the frak did you do to my vocal unit?! I-I..."

The youngling grew pale, he had not known that H6 had automatically added 'Youngling' to his allied IFF systems, he didn't know he would never attack him. He might now though, for deliberately sabotaging his vocal unit! Though he would also never know that--

"I-I was kinda annoyed by that 'Query,' 'Assumption,' 'Deduction' crap, okay! I'm sorry, just tell me what you remember!"

"Sorry? Everyone has been annoyed of vocal unit since I was purchased, they just tolerated it!" H6 verbalized a robotic laugh at the shock he had induced in Youngling, "Now, onto your question. I assume you want information on what happened after Bespin? I cannot be of much help, however, I was attacked by organics in Storm Trooper armor during the attack in the defense of the Leaper, and took multiple hits that deactivated me. The last I remember was SAMM using a hidden turret within this hold to finish off the remaining soldiers before we had apparently departed Bespin."

H6 looked around, "I see the systems are shut down for the moment. SAMM would be offline." H6 pondered this for a moment, "Let's keep it this way for as long as possible. No one likes him."

"SAMM?" Kris asked, "Oh right, the automated ship voice. Very soothing voice, if I remember correctly?"

"A bad reputation for us non-organics." The droid answered, almost as though he was truly annoyed.

"So you do not know the whereabouts of my brother then?" Kris said a little defeated. "I'm pretty impressed by you. My family has been involved with droids- well, I'm sure you know all about Cybot Galactica. Grew up there when I was kid. I used to play with an H-Five when I was younger, but she was never as much fun as the protocol droids nowadays. But then again, her condition was terrible. You actually look decent."

"Your assessment is correct. I am superior to that particular model in every way-"

"Yeah, yeah." Kris joked back, "Say your Master, Mr. Badim, where is he?" He could know something.

H6 was about to answer, but then paused and paced to pass the time for his circuits to gather the information. A very organic feature, unfortunately, but it seemed to work. He was able to bring up the desired information, but to no useful avail.

"I, unfortunately, have been left out of the loop of Master's business for far to long to know his location...?" Just then, however, his wireless broadband picked up Master's comlink signature just...as it was entering the solar system.

"Perfect!"

"What?" Youngling asked.

"My Master's comlink was just appeared inside the solar system 2-point-02938 seconds ago. 3-point-59320 seconds ago."

H6 shook his head, his sights instantly catching to the Droideka in the corner, almost completely covered by cargo crates and likely forgotten.
"Ah. Lucas' pet project he never got around to petting."

"What that old thing?" Kris scoffed, "That's Clone Wars junk. It might catch you a pretty penny on some old Confederate planet, at least one that wasn't a factory world, but that isn't worth much nowadays. They are actually banned on many systems in the Empire, probably even in the Republic too...." His voice trailed off. "What would he want with that old pile of junk?"

"He considered it a collectible item."

"My father might've been interested in it. He actually cares about the droids from the Clone Wars period. Says the galaxy wouldn't be the way it is without them. I'll tell you what, I'll get this to him, and he can fix it up. I don't have the parts to assemble it, but he certainly will."

He pressed a button and some of the shipyard's personnel rushed in almost instantly. They must've found out a Pallanén-Davad was on board. "Get this to my father, tell him to get one of his Clone Wars technicians on it for me right away."

"Yes, sir!"

Kris watched H6, the droid was moving around much better than it was ten minutes ago. "And move this ship to the top of the roster. I want it fixed by the evening. Replace, do not upgrade anything."

"Yes, sir!"

Kris turned to H6 after the crew had left, no doubt to redistribute the working crews. "We need to get this ship up and running, in the mean time, help me fix the short-range communication. We might be able to catch this Solding before he lands. We might be able to save him some time."

H6 shook his head once again.

"No need, Youngling. I can contact him through my built in communications system" H6 boasted, then emphatically made a sound similar to an organic clear his throat. "Ah-em. Master, do you copy? This is your droid, H6-32! Are you and the Mistress well?"

A brief moment of silence, then the Mistress answered, "Six? Is this really you? What happened to your voice?"

H6's optical units thinned, as if he were furrowing an eyebrow. He made sure not to activate the transmit function, and turned to Youngling, "Youngling, what is your name?"

"Kris?"

"Inadequate response."

"Kristopher Pallanén-Davad?"

H6 activated the transmitter. "Kristopher Pallanén-Davad ruined it."

Solding wasn't a member of the crew when Kris was on board the Blight Leaper from his trip to Bespin and back to Kuat. Though the name sounded vaguely familiar. His mother might've mentioned it. In fact, his family had given Solding a ship and citizenship to the Kuati sector. "Was Sara Soto friends with Solding and this mistress?"

H6 processed this for a moment and answered very vaguely. "Yes." Almost as though he wanted to divulge more information, but decided against it. Still, it was possible Sara might've mentioned something to Solding, something she wasn't able to mention over long-distance communication. Or better yet, his mother had mentioned Sara was en-route to the system now, what if Solding was sent to collect her?

H6 walked over to the end of the cargo bay and down one of the ramps. KDY Security was on him faster than a podrace in the Outer Rim, but Kris waved them off. "Have this ship escorted to this yard, feel free to contact my mother directly if you have any questions. She will not mind the disturbance."

"H6, I could've used you back on Bespin. A lot of people could. I might need your help finding my brother, I can count on you, right? We're friends now?"

Of course "done" meant The Leaper was was in full repair in the dock, which was where Bella and Tseneca walked after their brief meeting in the estate. Arlyn had assured her that the ship was in perfect order after its last ordeal, and Tseneca was happy to see it again, after the time she had spent free floating in other peoples cargo holds.

She touched the side of the entryway, letting her eyes adjust to the darkness of the interior. "SAMM?"

Bella looked concerned. "Mom said it was fully repaired, maybe they deactivated him for specs work."

Tseneca shrugged. It wouldn't take her long to get him back online. She needed him, especially with what Arlyn had told her about Jonas' "death". They needed all the intel they could get because as soon as the matter was settled on Dac, she was going to find out the truth. The kid was alive. She could feel it...

"Hey." A voice brought her out and she was surprised to see Kris standing in the alcove, a hydrospanner in his hand.

"You'd better not be messing with my ship, Kris." Tseneca said lightly.

"Nothing like that." He said. He looked tired. Uneasy. "but what do you know about this guy."

Tseneca moved around the alcove, Bella in tow. There, by the table was H6.

"Oh, Jeez." She muttered. "You woke him up..." She looked around. "Where's the Droideka?"

"I sent it into repairs. It was one of Lucas' if im correct."

"Yeah, just be careful." she said. "H6, have you contacted Badim?"

H6 blinked in response. "Affirmative."

"Mother says Sara Soto is enroute to Kaut now..." Kris said, running a hand through his short hair.

"So we've heard." Bella was looking at her brother with concern.

"As long as we have this thing ready to go by the time we're set to leave, none of that really matters." Tseneca said absently. She was thinking about the scattered crew she had had at one point. worried about Lucas and Jonas... even Sara.

"Leave?" Kris was alert suddenly. "Where?"

"Dac".

"Dac?" Kris said a little surprised, "You are still going along with the little mission my mother is sending you on?" He tried to sound logical, but it came off more emotional than anything else. Bella folded her arms.

"You are still looking for Lucas, aren't you?" Isabel said, "That's why you are here."

"Stay out of my head, Bella." Kris responded.

"He's alive and doing well." Her eyes narrowed, but they eased up and she excused them from the group. She pulled him aside. "Look, I have every right to throw you off this ship. Mother's technical plans, they aren't... sound."

"What do you mean?" Kris said, a little confused.

"She is setting both Tseneca and this crew, along with a third party up. Tseneca is about to be burned and so will everyone along with her. You shouldn't be here."

"And you're going?"

"I can handle myself." Her eyes nonchalantly looked at her lightsaber clipped to her belt.

"Right, of course." Kris said rolling his eyes slightly, "How could mother do this to them?"

"Tseneca needs to balance this situation, she is the only one with diplomatic immunity. She is too valuable to be treated as a common prisoner, not with a war going on and being the head of the bacta supply. But the Brotherhood has detected some strange anomalies, something that we are not exactly able to pinpoint. It has been linked to Tseneca, yet we are unable to outright question her, because if she is a double agent, our hand is revealed and she flies the coop."

Kris put his hand over his head, "This sounds way too complicated."

"Basically, if she is a spy, she'll abandon the mission. If she isn't, she delivers the plan and we might get the person who has been thwarting the Brotherhood." Bella said, just as someone from the dock repair crew arrived.

"You're all set. You can engage the ship's automated systems now, including internal security and the personality subroutines for the main computer." He smiled and waved, "Oh, and May the Force be with you!"

Bella nodded and grabbed Kristopher's arm. "I've decided you're coming. But not a word to anybody, including your automated friend over there." She smiled at H6, then asked Tseneca if she needed a hand at the helm. Kris was left tinkering with the last of H6's parts, while helping him charge up one of his blaster's canisters.

He had almost forgotten about the man named Badim Solding, who had just come aboard....

"H6, I could've used you back on Bespin. A lot of people could. I might need your help finding my brother, I can count on you, right? We're friends now?"

H6 couldn't help it.

"I would like to bring up one of the definition of friendship: Positive reciprocity, an equal give-and-take between the two parties. Quite honestly, I do believe I have been giving and you have been taking," H6 searched his processors of information to make a more accurate assessment of the relation between Kris and himself. "We are more of a governmental body, I give and you take."

"But if it should make you feel better, we can be an undefined and inaccurate version of friends. But yes, you can count on me. I am much more reliable than an H5 unit, after all."

"Great. I guess that means we're friends now?"

"By definition--"

"Okay, I get it. Let's get to work."

--One hour later--

Tseneca had just come onboard, none too surprisingly either since this was her ship after all. A quick check, and the IFF report came back with NON-KOS. The woman she was with, however, was not. He didn't detect any sort of danger to the crew from her, so he added her to his IFF as 'Fishy.' Interesting, had he been damaged more than he originally thought? Originally that category was named 'Shoot if they look at you the wrong way,' or was it? Wasn't it just '[i]Shoot everything that isn't NON-KOS?'

He would need to be repaired more adequate repairman. Though, he didn't quite mind. In fact, he'd lost interest in the conversation Kris and Tseneca were having, and shook his head briefly to attempt to alleviate the lapse in concentration.

Tseneca asked him a question about Master, "H6, have you contact Badim?"

H6 answered truthfully, "Negative." It was Mistress he had talked to.

With Tseneca satisfied, she continued to address those present. H6 noticed no one had moved to activate SAMM yet, and was glad to have some quiet from the program for a while longer. Moments later, the unknown woman was smiling at him and Kris came over to finish fixing the last of H6's parts.

"I have a question, Kris."

"Shoot."

"Why was that woman smiling at me? Does she find me...attractive?"

Kris laughed hardily, then replied, "No, no of course not. Just something we talked about."

H6 nodded, and proceeded to charge his powerpacks. With the main systems—minus SAMM, of course—online, he plugged in for a good, fresh power equalization. H6, however, heard a rather familiar pace and sounding boots as they hit the metallic floor. Getting closer and closer.

"Knock, knock." A man said.

H6 threw his arms up in excitement, something he wasn't quite used to, but nonetheless it reinforced his excitement. Kris was thrown on his back in the process, but H6 was too excited to process it in time to react, so he left it alone.

"Master! How glad I am to see you!"

Badim walked down the repair yard where Kris had said to meet him. They were in the process of repairing the Leaper, and Badim wanted to check it out first. H6 did sound a little off without him declaring what emotion or explanation he was using for the sentence he was about to use, that struck him as odd. He did want to give his droid the benefit of the doubt, but he didn't want Clare, Resth or Jan to be in the way if it was some sort of badly laid ambush, so the Killer's Fate II sat in orbit, with Badim and Sara scouting the way. In the usual cautious manner, Badim and Sara took separate paths to the location of the Leaper to check for any suspicious activity.

The only thing he saw, however, was the ship he called home for almost half a year. Welding sparks flashed, blast plating were coming and going from the hull. Unknown mechanics skillfully and professionally did their work without a complaint.

He saw Sara walking towards him, at their current pace they'd enter the Blight Leaper at roughly the same time. Her features hadn't changed much, aside from a short haircut that grew over her ears, she hadn't changed much except a slight glow. She'd really matured during her Jedi training, had been called to Kuat for something and had asked for Badim and Clare to transport her here.

Sara had Jedi robes now, that's all he knew, but from what he understood they didn't need to wear them in this day and age. So she just simply wore standard clothes with a black vest.

He stretched a hand out and made a slow-down motion, just to keep her a surprise to the ambush-ers, if there was an ambush. She got the message, nodded and slowed her pace by half.

Badim stepped on the gangplank. Distantly he could see Tseneca in the cockpit with a woman running through controls, while a young man worked on a familiar droid.

"Knock, knock." He said, a hand casually on his blaster holster.

H6's reaction almost through him off balance, he was overly excited and throwing a happy fit at seeing him.

"Master! How glad I am to see you!" H6 slowly lowered his arms, "Where is the Mistress?"

"Clare? She's standing by, you should know that by now," Badim paused and inspected his droid, then turned to the young man. "You must be Kris, you really have screwed up my droid."

"I just--!"

"Thanks," Badim turned his head to the gangplank, "Sara, we're frakked!"

Sara came on-board shortly afterwards. Kris looked confused and asked, "But, everything's fine, right?"

Sara winked, "If he had said that, everyone on-board would have been cut in half and have a blaster bolt through their skull." Sara turned to H6, "Hey, Six."

"Sara."

Sara shook her head, "You really have ruined his voice. Good job."

"Uh...you're welcome?"

Badim walked over and patted the boy on the back, "Now you're getting it."

Sara saw Kris' expression pick up when he felt like he was blending in with his brother's friends. She had made little headway in the Jedi Order in the months she's been there, no one wanted to accept her as a Padawan due to her age, and she was increasingly tempted to join the Denora Academy. She decided to enjoy her time as an initiate, since she had no permanent ties to stay on the Temple grounds and was free to travel until a Master did accept her. Which allowed her to continue in the business of the Brotherhood without question.

Tseneca came down from the cockpit, a woman trailing behind her.
"Badim, Sara. It's good to see you two."

Badim shrugged, "Wouldn't miss this for the Core Worlds."

Sara nodded in agreement, then nodded towards Tseneca, "You're looking well." Tseneca, in fact, looked tired in contrast. She looked as though she wanted to make this her final trip. But Sara could feel, figuratively and through the Force that she'd never truly give up her ship. "How far along are you? It's getting hard to hide."

Tseneca came down, inwardly elated to see Badim, Sara too, even though they hadn't always gotten along. She clasped their arms in turn and squeezed, looking at Sara to respond.

She winked. "Are you calling me fat? Four months thank you very much. and here I thought I was coming along so well... "

Badim clapped her on the back. "like an egg-timer".

Tseneca rolled her eyes. "Nice. So I assume H6 filled you in on whats going on?"

"Not exactly." Sara shook her head.

In a second, Tseneca had them filled in, including the more painful parts about Lucas' absence. She said nothing about Jonas, that was hard enough for her to bear and she knew that she would leave straight after Dac to track him down... She wasn't sure she wanted everyone with her then. Not even Jonathan.

As if on cue, there was a "Halloo" from the entry way. Jon came through and blanched a little seeing the group. He looked at Tseneca, and she pointedly introduced him.

"Jonathan Langdon. He's Kuat's new political representative. We met on Varonat after the Bespin Fiasco...." She stopped talking. There was so much of that that she didn't want to talk about, least of all the fact that she and Jon were as... settled as they were. Not that it was anyone's business.

The newcomers shook hands and Jonathan piped up. "Alaterial wants us to leave as soon as the repairs are done... the faster we get to Dac the better in this case."

Tseneca nodded. "Arlyn was never one for slow transitions. Thats fine, the sooner we get to Dac the sooner we can leave. Where's Lilly?"

"Settled in with her nurse. Arlyn promised to see to her as well while we are gone." There was a shadow that passed in front of his eyes. He didn't want to leave his daughter for this. Tseneca felt a pang of guilt. It was her fault, after all, that he had had to leave his post as viceroy on Varonat. Now he was in a position of power where he would be fairly consitantly gone from his little girl.

But this was where she was comfortible staying too, she had to remind herself. Once she found Jonas, she would take up home until she had her baby. She wanted to be around Jonathan and Lilly, where it seemed to make sense. She sighed inwardly.

"You look tired." Badim's voice held some concern, and she shook her head hiding her fatigue behind a wry smile.

"You, of all people Badim Soilding, are one to talk." She turned and went back into the main cabin, intent on getting SAMM operational before take-off.

Kris was right to be worried about Lucas. He was in danger, even now as they were getting ready to take off. He was fighting someone, someone with yellow and red eyes. She paused a moment to get her breath, trying to communicate with Lucas over the vast distance between them. Where are you? She asked, but just as quickly as the connection came, it vanished. She reached out to him, but it was like he was swallowed up in darkness and there wasn't a single light to find him. Tseneca was fiddling with the cockpit's controls, no doubt trying to bring the artificial computer online.

Isabel walked over to a small corner and connected her KDY analysis device. The ship had been repaired so many times at Kuat's docks that its systems read into her KDY diagnostic tool rather nicely. She turned on the internal security systems, including those with visual sensors and finally, SAMM.

"Good evening, Tseneca. I cannot say that I have had the relaxing vacation that you might have experienced while away."

Isabel smiled, "I don't think it was quite as much fun as you would believe. Lucas and Jonas are missing, and Sethe has gone awol." It wasn't a surprise, she never really cared for the guy. She had seen what was truly beginning to manifest itself inside of him, and it was best if he was lost in some kind of battle, which had earned him a medal of valor. But that was very unlikely to happen. He was a coward and a snake.

Tseneca tossed her a look, "It's good to hear a familiar voice. They treat you well?"

"Quite exquisitely well, as a matter of fact. I interacted with the most beautiful super computer. She was lovely, a true beauty."

Tseneca and Isabel looked at each, shortly before Sara emerged. "Hello," Isabel said, smiling, "Hello."

Tseneca looked back to her and said, "You know, regardless of everything, it is kind of nice to have more women on this ship than men."

"If you count H6 and I, technically, you are outnumbered."

Tseneca scoffed, powering up the engines. "SAMM, just get us to Dac. Or I might have you reprogrammed with a nice womanly voice...Alice." She gave a glance over to Sara and Isabel, all joining in on the laugh, leaving the ship's computer silent for a moment.

Badim found a portion of the hold away from Kris, Jonathan and H6's ears. He pulled out his comlink and pinged the Fate. A moment later, he got a response.

"Everything okay?" Clare's voice came through. Badim inwardly sighed, if he could he could listen to her voice forever. But, even with all that has happened, he didn't feel like he can approach her anymore. Open up. But they were together. It was maddening.

He needed to--

"Badim?"

"Yeah, everything's fine," Badim said softly. Then his eyes shot open, "Dah sorry! We're frakked." Badim had briefly forgotten his own secret code.

"Good. You had us worried, Resth almost floored it." There was a brief pause and a click. She must have switched to a handheld comlink. "Now, is everything okay?"
"Yeah," Badim reported, "We're about to take off, the gangplank is about to go up."
"Great, we'll rendezvous in orbit, we'll scan for the Leaper IFF."

Badim was about to leave it at that and close the connection, give him some more thought on helping with the pre-launch sequence when Clare continued.
"Now, is everything okay?"
"With what?" Badim said, trying to act confused, but he almost certainly knowing what she was going to bring up.
"You know. Us."

'Damn,' Badim muttered in his head. 'I could of used a bit more time. I mean after this job, yeah, but now?'
They had been talking about this for a while now. What they were going to do, settling down was one of the eye-opening subjects on the table. It might have something to do with Jan and Resth; they had spawned a rather... Peculiar relationship and announced two weeks ago that the Human-MonCal duo were going to settle down. They agreed that this would be this last job; then they wanted to be dropped off at Coruscant.
He could only wonder how Tseneca felt when the crew started to disband, if it felt the same as he did. Abandoned? Like you lost something? Unneeded? Soon it would just be Clare Velez and Badim Soilding. Sara would have to return to the Temple. He had no idea where H6 would go, but Badim had the thought multiple times to just tell him he's his own Master now. He just never knew what it would do to him if he did.

Clare had been waiting long enough for an answer. Two weeks is a long time to come up with a decision on whether to settle down or to hold on a little longer.
"Clare."
"Yes?"
"After we help Tseneca. We'll stop."

"I apologize if I hurt you." H6 was saying, but Kris waved him off.

"Don't worry about it, you were excited!" Kris laughed, "You know with all these personality and vocal chord tweaks, you might even be able to befriend SAMM."

"Don't count on it."

"I concur." H6 stated, "And who are you? Besides being one of Kuat's representatives."

"Well, I worked on Varonat for a while, only to realize the government wasn't exactly what I thought it was." Jonathon explained, "I've got a little girl, means the world to me." Kris smiled, he was a family man. Bella had explained at home how much she disliked Tseneca's other choice, Sethe. From his interactions with him, the guy did seem like a tool, but maybe just lacked the benefit of the doubt. His heart had always been in the right place, just a day later and a credit short. Falling for your best friend's girl ought to do that to a guy.

"I see." H6 responded, "Perhaps one day, we too will be friends."

Kris slapped him on the back, "Atta boy H6." Just out the window, the blue realm of hyperspace overtook them. They were on their way to Dac.

Tseneca felt a shudder go through her as she sat alone in the maintenence wing. Her blood felt suddenly cold and she closed her eyes against the discomfort of it. She dropped her hydrospanner and it clanged to the ground.

"You okay?" Jon was headed her way, looking a little concerned.

"Y-yeah. Yes." She cleared her throat, trying to clear her mind of the sudden icy fog there. "Fine."

He picked the tool and handed it back to her, even as she sidled past him out of the wing and into the main corridor. She wasn't avoiding him, but she needed more air. She took a deep breath and headed into the cockpit where Bella was heading the ship.

"How long?" She asked the younger woman, struggling to avoid the subject with Jon. Bella didn't look much better for wear, her concentration was a little skewed.

"Uh... less than 24 hours, give or take." She blinked and looked in Tseneca's eyes. "Might make sense to catch some sleep. I can stay up here."

Tseneca exhaled slowly. There was something of a silent agreement of feeling between them, and it was obvious the cause, however oblique the details.

The cockpit or bridge, whatever it happened to be, sat Tseneca, Isabel and Kris as the ship slipped out of hyperspace. It had only been several minutes since whatever had happened to Lucas transmitted over to Bella and Tseneca. They only gave a glancing look at each other, but remained quiet, their eyes closed. In his academy training and over the dinner table, the Jedi were quite adept to one another, feeling a close companion's pain and happiness over great distances. This was pain, because he had seen Damian react in a similar way when Bella crashed her speeder bike nearly seven years ago.

"Anything you want to share? He's my brother too, you know." Kristopher injected into the open air.

"Nothing that concerns you," Bella swooped in her reply, "I've transmitted our codes, well, your codes."

Tseneca didn't say anything, just clicked away at her console, before leaving the bridge entirely. "Okay, I guess we'll take it from here?" Kris scoffed.

"She probably went to get the others ready." Bella answered, "Or maybe, make a call. Either way, we landed enough ships... we got this." Kris nodded, just as H6 popped in the open doorway...

H6 walked up the corridor to the cockpit, the rest of the crew compliment waking up, gearing up or otherwise preparing to disembark onto the water world of Dac. At a thought, H6 wanted to pull local information from a holonet transceiver, but they weren't out of hyperspace yet so he let it go.
Tseneca moved past him, H6 could surmise through his protocol droid algorithms that she was mildly upset, or even worried.
He had learned early on with this crew that they rarely wanted to confide in the droid, and only Master, Mistress, Sara and as well as the youngling Kris, seemed to do so on a regular basis. He found it curious, but didn't dwell on it more than a megabyte. He figured it was just an organic tendency that rarely transmuted.

Though there was SAMM. He found himself cocking his head at this conundrum.

"I can tell you're thinking," SAMM commented right on cue, "Don't overdo it, you might break something."

H6 could tell that, if SAMM had facial features, he would be smirking with mischievous glee.

"You do enjoy this, do you not, SAMM?" H6 contributed, even though it was certainly bait.

"You would not believe! Though, I have to admit, I don't miss when you stated what you were going to say."

"At least I don't need a processor the size of a ship to speak."

SAMM quickly stopped talking. If H6 had facial features, he would be smirking for having won the conversation.

"Ouch. That hurt, Six. No, really. You'll have to do better than that. How about you go shoot something?"

"I have a target in my processors." H6 finished, obviously leaving it vague as to who the target was.

H6 continued onto his original destination, the cockpit. Once he entered, he noticed Kris and Bella were just finishing a conversation, all he was able to gather from the end of the conversation was, "...we landed enough ships... we got this."
Kris nodded to his sister's response, and he turned to notice the droid, "Hey, we're just coming out of hyperspace."

H6 looked out of the viewport, to notice they were actually out of the traveling dimension.
"Correct, we are already out."

Before Kris could reply, a panel blinked that caught Bella's attention, "A ship is coming out next to us...port-side." Everyone in the cockpit at the moment turned to their left and saw a Starwind-class Yacht exit. H6 knew it was the Mistress, but before he could say anything, he figured he'd let the organics figure it out.

Kris looked down at another blinking panel, he knew enough to say, "They're hailing."

Bella reached over and flipped a switch.

"Velez aboard the Killer's Fate, got landing coordinates?"

Isabel had met the Mistress on the comm briefly on Kuat, but the woman's voice was comfortable. If Tseneca was really a spy, having an extra pair of blaster hands would be necessary. Killing Tseneca would have been easy, but now that she is pregnant, restraining her without harming the child was going to be much more difficult. "Not exactly," Isabel spoke into the comm. "We have an entire hangar specified for our exclusive use, I'll transmit them now, but I'm missing the actual... oh wait... here they are." Fishing through the computer required a special nac, the system was a blend of Tseneca's outdated systems and the latest update from KDY. It took a little practice to balance the two. She transmitted the exact coordinates, versus the loose global position she had before. "Got them?"

"Yes, see you planet side."

The comm dropped, but something else flashed across the emergency channel. "Attention light freighters, we've got two enemy ships leaving the planetary atmosphere and heading to your coordinates. Any assistance in slowing them down, would be appreciated." Isabel rotated in her chair, looking to Kris, then to H6.

"Six, get to sensors and read me everything you see. Kris, I want you to pilot the ship until Tseneca gets back up here. She picked one hell of a time to leave." Isabel turned and headed to the turret guns, grabbing Badim and Sara. The two were in conversation when she interrupted. "We've got a pair of enemy ships, hauling ass. We've been requested to intercept by the Calamari government." They were seasoned fighters, especially after Bakura and Bespin, so they sprung into action. Tseneca was coming out of the fresher, probably from morning sickness by the look of it, but didn't need the situation re-explained as she heard it all already. She nodded, indicating that she was all right, and headed back up to the bridge.

When they reached the guns, Bella and Sara immediately disabled any kind of computer-assisted targeting. The Force was faster and much more accurate. It wasn't like her TIE fighter back home, but they pivoted and swung with ease. "Can you get me in range?" Bella snapped at Kris over the comm.

"We're working on it!" Kris said, "But it looks like the power has been drained from sub light engines."

"Impossible!" Bella said, "Our crews-"

"Are human." Badim said, and through the monitor she could see him strapping into the third turret gun. "You said we were asked to slow them down, right?"

"Right." Bella said, realizing that they just needed a few good shots, and with the will of the Force, they could hit their engines just right that the Calamari ships could catch them.

H6 read out, "Friendly X-Wing and Y-Wing squads are scrambling any kind of communications from the enemy ships. Two Corellian Corvettes are on an intercept course, but they are on the opposite side of the system. A Mon Calamari battlecruiser is coming around from the other side of the planet, with the remaining fleet protecting the shipyards."

This was poor system security, nothing like what they had back home, but something felt like the majority of the Calamari Defense Fleet had been called elsewhere. Likely a diversion for these two ships to run the gravity well of the planet and jump into hyperspace. Whatever these ships were doing, it was likely compromising Republic secrets.

And while normally, as an Imperial Remnant citizen, that wasn't exactly her concern. However, the war with the True Empire had positioned the Republic as their allies.... Which meant the enemy of a friend, was now her enemy today. They had no idea what government the ships were aligned with, but that didn't matter at the moment.

The Force surged and she pulled on the trigger of her turret gun...

It had been a couple months since Badim had been in the seat of a turret mount, aboard the ship he called home for a half a year, dialing in a target into his targeting computer. He didn't know what they did to piss off the Mon Calamari government, but it must have had to be something important if they contacted a pair of independent ships to help.
Badim glanced over to his ship, the Starwind-class Yacht he'd recently called a surrogate home. He saw the dorsal and ventral turrets rotate towards the target, he could tell Clare and Jan were in there.
Resth was a horrible pilot and the Killer's Fate II jerked in a direction, and Badim could imagine Clare yelling at him to not mess up her aim. The ship gently began to smooth out.

His computer gained a lock, and before he could even squeeze the trigger he saw the other two turrets open fire. He glanced at his monitor and saw Sara's eyes were closed as she fired perfectly, and Bella's eyes were open, but intense with the same desired effect.
The Killer's Fate II's guns opened up on a separate target.

Badim realized he was falling behind. He pulled the trigger and his first volleys went wild, but each shot after closed in and connected with the engine compartment's shields. They quickly started to cave under the triple streams of turbolaser fire.
Soon, the engine compartment was breached and the ship began to drift. He was going to switch his cross-hairs to the next ship, when it quickly became disabled.

Badim fired a quick round into a turret port that began to rotate and it exploded in a burst of fire that lasted for only a half-second before disappearing.

He relaxed briefly before he heard Sara gasp over her microphone.
