The Republic shuttle crossed through the system with zero inbound transmissions. The system was obviously underdeveloped, and maybe the general lack of valuable resources, despite a living atmosphere on a single moon, left the system untouched. "I'm detecting a small freighter, but other than that..." Anakin spoke, running over the sensor checks. Lucas checked his own instruments, and concluded the same.

"Orakle," The girl perked up, and stood barely at their seated shoulder height. "Your home." They glided towards the moon, Anakin tipping the shuttle slightly as they moved towards the small collection of villages the girl had marked as her home. Lucas couldn't help, but meditate and send his soul searching for Felucia when they arrived out of hyperspace. Jonas was fading. Maybe Tseneca was much more accurate than he originally thought. Was it a mistake to come here first?

"Lucas!" Anakin called him back to the shuttle, his eyes shooting open to watch the descent into the fog of clouds, before the beautiful blue sky, with a sort of green radiance. Lucas adjusted some of the controls, apologizing briefly. The girl touched his shoulders, a sense of comfort washed through his body. "Thanks," he muttered. He understood what it meant to be a Jedi, that lives would have to calculated, and duties compared and weighed. It wasn't about him, or his friends, it was the girl standing behind them, watching the descent onto her village to be with a dying mother.

He needed to place his own feelings aside, complete the task, albeit quickly, before heading to Felucia. Suddenly, Orakle let out an ear piercing scream, collapsing to the ground, where she remained fainted. Tears stained her cheeks, and when Anakin went to move her, he stopped in midair. His face turned back to the viewscreen. Lucas wasn't sure what he felt, as Anakin quickly jerked the shuttle into a new trajectory. "Sithspawns!" The Jedi curse had rarely been used, but when it was, something incredibly terrible was usually taking place. Lucas reached out with Force, and suddenly, he could feel the pain of thousands.

The freighter they had detected earlier, were slavers. They seemed to have found the peaceful collection of villages, and without Republic or Alliance protection, they were the raw resources. Lucas looked to the fallen girl, she must've seen this, and with her intimate connection to the Force, she might've seen far worse. "Anakin we have to -"

"I know." Anakin's voice was different here. He hadn't seen him this way in a while. A smirk crawled its way over Lucas' face, in Galactic Standard Time, it was Day 10 Hour 17 with 43 minutes, but here on Rae, it was time to kick slaver-ass.

Lucas landed hard against the hull of the freighter. Anakin had steered them away, initially, only to swing them around and into a sensor weakspot. The freighter wouldn't know they were there, until it was too late. Next was Anakin, then the small girl, Orakle. "You were supposed to guide the ship to safety!" Anakin hissed over Lucas slicing through the hull of the vessel. The girl pointed, as the shuttle glided over, and landed below some hills in the distance. Clever.

Lucas dropped down, his eyes searching carefully, while sending out a pulse with the Force. The coast was clear. He whistled, catching the girl, as Anakin dropped down. He raced ahead, much as he always did, and Lucas took the rear. Orakle was placed between them, her small body creeping in and out of the hallways of the massive, yet ancient vessel. Lucas could hear screams and footsteps in the distance, it meant they were getting closer. "You sure you wanna be here?" Lucas asked her, and she nodded carefully. He wouldn't doubt that she's already seen everything.

"Quiet you two," Anakin barked, he was always much more serious when they sneaking around. Always a killjoy. Suddenly, blaster fire erupted from two corners, the green dots impacting the hull behind them. Anakin spun his saber around , catching several, and sending the rest back to their opponents. They felt the freighter jolt. They were trying to leave the surface... That wasn't good.

"Lucas, try to see if you can bait their fire, I'm going to-" Before he could complete the sentence, the girl stretched out her hands. In an instant, the blaster fire ended, and the two humans stepped out. They both looked over forty, the decades had been rough, as though they had adapted to heavy-spice usage. They walked forward, before kneeling before the youth.

"Sabotage the engine." She told them, waving her hand over their minds. Her control was awesome, as it was disturbing. "Then defend my people. They are good."

"I will sabotage the engine. Your people are good." His robotic tone was eerie, but it completed a portion of their task. Their feet were swift, their minds locked to every word she had just issued. Anakin looked at her, opened his mouth as though to lecture, before shutting it rapidly. "We do not have much time." The girl took off ahead, her small feet racing against the metallic floorboards...

Lucas appeared around the corner, the cargo holds had been converted into massive cells. And to each, maybe three hundred people were crammed into them like livestock. Lucas swallowed the bitter taste in his mouth, keeping his mind focused at hand. He swiftly ran across the ceiling railings, keeping an eye on Anakin as he hoisted the child into a protective place. His master raised a finger at the girl, no doubt telling her all the things she wasn't supposed to do. Lucas caught his eye for a moment, a brief smile stretching from ear to ear, before the pair dropped into the center of the room.

The guards were thick here, and it only took a moment to relieve them of their duties. Lucas noticed his senses were enhanced, and visions of actions to come, had came much sooner than they usually had. For several minutes he was motioning and using his arms three steps ahead of his opponents. As the last guard fell, the Orakle whispered Good job.

Anakin let out a laugh, "She's good." Together, he and Lucas cut the locks from the cages. His voice was loud and filled with authority, despite the massive chatter of triumph. "Until we disable the rest of the ship, it isn't safe to leave. They could use the laser turrets..." The Orakle dropped from the top of the freighter cargo hold, to the very center. Her knees bent, but Lucas could feel the Force cushion the drop, and in an awesome display, she rose to face her natives.

"We must help them," She spoke, her voice was tiny compared to Anakin, but the room had been completely silent. "Help them take the ship, and restore peace to our world!" The men clambered, cheering as they grabbed the leftover guard weapons. The captured 'slaves' moved towards the doorways. "We can take groups of a hundred..." The Orakle explained, "The women and the children can flee into the caves not more than a quarter mile from here. I can lead the first group."

Anakin nodded. He seemed to trust in her, when suddenly, there was a scream. Not of fear, but delight. An older woman crouched and wrapped her arms around Orakle, as tears streamed from both of their eyes. "Mama!" She shouted, clinging to the older woman. Lucas felt his heart warm, but the Force sent a shockwave throughout the trio. The Orakle grabbed her mother's hand, and with a large number of women and their children, rushed out of the freshly opened freighter bay doors. The rest lingered, their eyes hungry to follow, but logic dictated they needed to wait.

"Lucas, lead a group of men to the right. Disable the turrets-" Explosions were heard, the turret guns had unloaded. Lucas yelled out, both in agony and rage, knowing that the Orakle and all those that had followed her were probably dead. With Anakin at his side, they rushed out of the doors to see who, if any survived.

The Jedi Spirits had shown brightly upon this child, as the laser bolts were frozen in midair. Dozens were locked, slowly climbing towards the brunette child with outstretched hands. With a flick of her wrists, and cry of emotion, she sent the bolts blazing towards the turrets that had spit them up. The entire freighter shook violently against the impact, as the small guns buckled against their own firepower. The girl faltered, dropping to her knees. Lucas reached out to her, but Anakin grabbed him.

"She did her job, we need to do ours." Lucas felt the energy spread through his body, the men with blasters taking point behind him as they opened the doors. Red bolts filled the air, but with Lucas moving, rarely did one hit one of the men behind him. They were able to move quickly, more and more men taking blasters and key points throughout the ship. Turret stations were cleansed and made safe, men staying behind to ensure they would no longer fall to the enslavers.

Anakin seemed to make equal progress, announcing the engine room had been defended magnificently by the pair brainwashed by the Orakle. Together they marched against the thickest portion of the vessel, using their lightsabers to cut and make entrances to places otherwise inaccessible. These surprise routes allowed them to make quick work of personnel behind the scenes, or believed to be protected.

The Bridge Doors.

Lucas and Anakin sliced through the blast doors, their lightsabers connecting at the top-center. Lucas stepped backwards, as Anakin sent a surge forward, blasting the hole aside. Bolts meshed, as Lucas and Anakin entered, taking defensive stances on the command deck. The crew died, none seemed to accept the inevitable defeat, with one officer betraying the location of their captain. Anakin and Lucas relieved the men, ordering them to relocate the rest of the cargo hold's civilians to the caves, where they could wait until it was safe. A small few lingered, interested in the abundance of technology that was present before them. After a sharp hiss from one of the natives, presumably a chief, the last of the men retreated back the way the came.

Lucas stood on the otherside of the door, as Anakin motioned for him to step closer. "We need to get information from him." It meant they needed him alive, even if he struggled and continued to try and kill them. Lucas nodded, as their lightsabers penetrated the doors of the captain's ready room. Lucas pushed Anakin aside, kicking the leftover door in, and stepped into a room filled with stolen luxuries.

The Captain had been kneeling before a holopadd, but before Lucas could make heads or tails of who or what was being transmitted, the image vanished. "Mi'lady?!" The Captain hissed, clearly terrified, then suddenly, looked towards them. He spoke, as Anakin entered from behind. "I'm sorry, I did not see their lightsabers!"

"Er?" Lucas started, clearly confused, when Anakin pushed him aside. As Anakin joined him. Lucas glared and the unprofound push, when Anakin pointed at the blank staring Captain... he was still transfixed on their location, only, they were no longer standing there.

"Mi'lady, please. No. I tried to find it, I swear. I did my best. Please." Lucas tried to decipher who or what he was talking about. The man was young, surprisingly younger than the two controlled by the Orakle. Dark circles formed around his eyes, as he scratched various parts of his arms. His spice consumption must've been higher, explaining the hallucinations. "Oh, Marialla!" His eyes were beaming at Anakin, then as he looked to Lucas, "Marchello!"

Anakin disengaged his lightsaber, "Did he just call me, Marialla?" Lucas snickered, looking bewildered as the Captain continued with the charade. How the hell did they end up here, and nearly get away with it all? Especially with this lune acting as the head of the monster? "I see, you've brought me a snack!? How kind of you, my love." The Captain stepped forward, as Anakin retrieved a pair of cuffs. The Captain reached over, and before Anakin could snap them around his hands, he pulled away. "Thank you so much!" He popped something into his mouth, Anakin attempted to use the Force to pull it out, but it was too late.

The poison capsule consumed him and within seconds, he was dead on the floor. What the hell, Lucas thought, reaching for any kind of explanation.

Anakin looked at the man, disgust resting across his face. "Come on, let's get these people home." Lucas looked at the holotransceiver, and then followed Anakin out of the enslaver's ship...

Lumiya was communicating with the Captain, displeased by the mission's failure. Not wanting to be caught by the Jedi, she cast a Force-phantom and created the illusion, in which Anakin and Lucas were the man's wife and son holding a tray of favored treats. The Captain, clearly taken by the image, took a poison capsule.

"Anakin, go, I'll take care of it. I'll meet you in the caves." Lucas turned his back on the older Jedi, the man seemed to agree, as nothing proved the contrary. Lucas tread across the many hallways, cutting through some of the walk paths to make it to the engine room faster. When he arrived, he set the engines to overload. The bucket of bolts wouldn't make it off the planet, and would end the possibility of the ship being traced. Lucas paused momentarily, something stirred him about the holo transceiver. Who was the figure, and why had the Captain acted so strangely? The Force was oddly silent, not answering or providing any inklings on his emotional indicators. A small detour wouldn't hurt...

The large hyperdrive cranked, and with the proper disconnection, it would attempt to make the jump to hyperspace, and cause a system-wide heat-surge. And within seconds, the entire freighter would be nothing but incinerated hunks of metal and ash. Lucas cruised towards the Captain's room, as time raced against him. He slipped inside, pulling the holo paddpadd's communication log, and placed it inside his pocket. As he turned, a man with a chain stood between him and the doorway.

"Sir, please move aside." Lucas said, his chrono showing not more than five minutes til the self-destruction activated. The man didn't move, and Lucas reached for his lightsaber. The man's speed was uncanny, the chain locking over his wrists, and twisted him into a 360-spiral. Lucas landed hard against his back, feeling the organic red goo slip from his skull and onto the floor. The man yanked the chain from its hold, before slamming it against Lucas' thigh. It was dangerously close to a member of his reproductive organs, enough to make him cringe and whine against the force of the man's attack.

In this moment, this delicate pause in the fight for a man's life, Lucas could feel the scrying eyes of a woman so far, far away. Tseneca touched a part of his soul, her voice empowered his name, his spirt, as a warm delicate umph of energy swarmed into his veins. The struggle was long, as barbaric punches and bloody jabs impacted each other, in the desperate brawl for one man's life.

Lucas, finally in a moment to conjure the concentration, used the Force to push the man up against the wall, this tactic proved convenient, but he lacked the time to deal with the man properly... Using the Force, Lucas pinched a biological nerve in the man's brain, and he was dead instantly. It wasn't a move taken lightly by any Jedi, nor would he tell Anakin, fearing a lecture and an ordeal that would involve several masters at the Jedi Temple. Lucas turned on his heels, and booked it against the chrono...

Lucas was clear of the freighter when the massive explosion sent a shockwave through the caves. Pebbles and rocks fell from lodged locations. In a minute, the rumbling slipped away, and Lucas was greeted by Anakin. His facial expression was a mixture of being relieved and pissed. "You're okay." It started as a question, but finished as reassurance. Lucas nodded, the blood from the impact had dried, and no need to exaggerate how close it came. Orakle appeared around the corner, leaving her mother's side. In a short dash, she impacted Lucas and squeezed him dearly. She whispered something, but the feeling she sent through the Force, had brought all the comfort and happiness she attempted to convey. Even Anakin laughed out loud, oddly touched by the girl's presence.

She extended her hand, and together, they walked from the protective confines of the cave and towards the location of her village. Anakin parted ways, agreeing to search and convey the freighter, in order to ensure no one had survived. It wasn't a difficult task, but it would provide Lucas with enough time to say good bye to the girl. Orakle sang something, and Lucas wasn't surprised he already knew the melody. Soon, her people picked up the lyrics to the old Kuati folk song. As the caves dwindled into the background and the rolling hills passed, Lucas paused in the glory of the villages of Rae. The grass was green, the waters sparkled with superb clarity and unmatched purity. A bridge extended from one side of the valley, to the other, and in the expanse, tremendous gardens and fields provided the people the food to live a long and happy lifestyle.

The girl leaned against him, her family and village members ventured delightfully at the sight of their homes. "Home is where the heart is," Lucas said, quite mesmerized by the whole canvas of imagery laid out before him.

The Orakle tapped his shoulder, and used her finger to signal him to come closer. She whispered, clearly reflecting on his quote of home, "Not always, Lucas. We can create them, and bring them with us everywhere." In her pocket, she retrieved a carved object. It was a fauna-creature, no doubt native to this world, though closely resembling a Kuati wolf. Lucas took the ornament into his hands, the wood fine and extremely soft to the touch. "It's a Ka'ul."

"It's beautiful, Orakle."

"Keep it. It'll protect you." The child beamed, her small fingers slipping into the palms of his hands, as she lead him towards the collection of lights springing up in the distance. The humm of the Republic shuttle could be heard, but the approach was soft and slow. Lucas bent downwards, just on the outskirts of the village. "You're not coming inside?" By this time, a small collection of elders had formed, with the Orakle's mother.

Lucas shook his head. "I have someone important to me, someone I need to help."

The shuttle touched down near by, Anakin emerging, no doubt to check on the well being of the citizens. The Elders bowed, their faces planting towards the ground. "Phalanx di Constellati." Orakle's mother whispered, rising from her feet, and placed a wreath of vegetation on both of their heads.

"It means, 'Gods of the Stars'. Don't take that literally, it's an honor from my people. You saved us, when we were doomed." The Orakle translated, rather proud at the pair of Jedi. Lucas sensed this from her, and humbled himself. He had never been honored in such a way. His fingers gripped the carved animal, promising to create a necklace that would protect him against the evils yet to come.

As Anakin and Lucas turned towards the shuttle, the Orakle raced forward. She waited for just Lucas to bend down, before she whispered, "I sense a great evil. Her eyes are on you, Son of Kuat." The Orakle's signature two pecks, before racing to her mother's arms. Their eyes met briefly, before Lucas turned his back on the Villages of Rae.

"What did she say?" Anakin asked, the shuttle beginning to take off.

"She wished us well on Felucia." Lucas smiled, the weight of the words still twisted him from telling the truth. Anakin might've sensed it, but maybe he hadn't. Something clouded the Jedi, something only ancient records of the Galactic Civil War, and teachings long destroyed or rotting on Korriban could provide. Lucas touched the insides of his pockets, feeling the cool metallic chip of the holo padd.

As the ship jumped to hyperspace, Lucas was beginning to have a bad feeling about this...

The "Gods of the Stars" Plot is considered finished. It was a cultural reference to the people of Rae and their understanding of the abilities of the Jedi. It was a title of honor given by the Orakle's Mother.

The "Orakle" non-player character is now officially a member of this planet. A Jedi Master has been dispatched to continue the girl's training, and develop her unique abilities in the Force.

Lucas Pallanén-Davad and Anakin Solo are now on Felucia
