Hey guys,
For a long time I've wanted to implement some kind of way to keep track of plots, especially after seeing Space Jawa doing it manually in his posts. Alex inspired me last night to finally get working on this and I have the first iteration of it tonight.
Basically,, you can now add another bit of code at the bottom of your post which works some magic, sort of like the tagging system does. It adds that post to a stream of posts that can be browsed as one chain of posts. So, effectively, you can now group your posts into plots; no matter what forum or topic they are in, you can easily go to them in order, and they are entirely self-sufficient; you don't have to manually link to posts to maintain continuity. This is going to make it much easier for third-parties to view a large, multi-player plot.
Instead of talking about it, let's just demonstrate it. Orrion, whom I thank for helping me test earlier, has some more to say about the system. So, take a look at the box at the bottom of this post and click on the first right arrow to view the next part in a different thread.

Awesome.
You took this to the next level. I'll have it implemented into my character slots by the end of the week. |

*streaks through thread with glee*
Will we be able to edit this into previous posts to archive them into a single storyline? IE my Nik/Amara plot? _________________

Yup, I in fact just did so with a few of my posts, recent, but it still keeps it in correct order of when the post was made. |

Niiiiiiiiiice. When I've got some free time, I'll go through and edit the tags into my Nik/Amara plot. _________________
