Badim heard the blaster fire cease, it was over, he looked at Clare. Her face calmed as she realized she was in control again, she quickly and frantically tried to claw at the collar around her neck. Badim helped, calming her hands as he found a hinge and pulled. He used all his strength and heard a satisfying CRACK as the collar came loose. Clare reached and pulled it off, then threw it to the other side of the room. She stared at it for a moment, then looked at Badim. He wore a satisfying smile as he tried to express the end of this horrible ordeal. She began to cry again and buried herself into him, crying over his shoulder as she gripped him tightly, fearing she’d lost him. The rest of the crew came around the corner, holding their blasters at the two, mainly towards Clare. He waved them to lower their weapons and they did, seeing Clare this way made them see that she was forced to do all of this.

Clare wiped her eyes of her tears, then looked back at Badim‘s smiling and caring face. His hazel eyes staring into her blue eyes. She wanted to kiss him right there, but then Candrog returned to her mind, she looked over to his desk, where she found the quivering mass of fat shake as he held his hand desperately. She grabbed the blaster from the ground next to her, stood and paced towards him with her blaster in hand while Lucas took Badim‘s binders off. No one opposed her as Badim explained what the situation was.

She aimed her blaster and shot him in the legs, then his arms and then his stomach. Hearing him scream and whelp at each shot. She closed in on him, then kicked him with all her might in the groin. He doubled over, she watched him for a moment, feeling no pity or mercy for the Twi’lek. She aimed for his head and fired. It was over, finally. Candrog De’lotre was dead.

She threw the blaster to the ground and fell to her knees. Exhausted. Badim came to her while the others worked out how to escape. He crouched next to her and she pressed her face to his neck, hiding beneath his hood. Her salty cheeks rubbed against his skin. She hugged him around his shoulders and neck as he lifted her up with strong arms and carried her to the exit. She gripped his arms and nuzzled her head to his chest, her castle.

Badim heard Clare pant as she squeezed him tightly. He knew she didn’t mean harm to him or anyone. She just wanted to feel the freedom Badim had enjoyed after Dirod’s death. He carried Clare to the crew and listened in as they planned their escape. He noticed Diann’s red hair, then Tseneca’s newly cut locks, them seemed to fit their personalities, a change he look forward to ask about later.
Suggestion: I believe the best, and most enjoyable path to take would be through the barracks--”

“No.” Lucas shot back at the droid.

“We could just go back down the stairs, better than going through the maintenance shafts again…” Diann suggested, stretching her back.
Tseneca shook her head, “Too risky, Sara. We need-”
“Sara?” Badim asked, staring curiously at Tseneca, then to Diann “What do you mean?”
Tseneca was about to answer for her, when Diann stepped forward, “Yes, it’s me, Badim. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you earlier, I just needed to be sure you weren’t going to harm me. We can talk more about it later.”
Badim stared at Diaan--Sara curiously as she smiled innocently. He made the connection as he matched her name with her red hair immediately. He returned the grin, happy to know she was alive. Then he thought back, closer than you think. He might have been delusional on Rhen Var, but he finally figured out what his subconscious mind had told him. He reached for his pocket as Clare held on tighter for the moment as he retrieved something from it. Luckily, the guards didn’t remove Sara’s Locket, “Then I know who this belongs to,” he tossed it towards Sara, she caught it and starred at it, then gripped it genially. He thought he heard her say a soft, quiet Thank you. Either she said it or not, he smiled as he saw her enjoy the site and feel of it again.

After a quiet moment had passed, Lucas added, “A lot of reveals for you today, huh Badim?”
Badim laughed, then looked back down at Clare, she had lightened up on the squeezing, but she still held his neck, not wanting to release it. He returned his gaze to the rest of the crew--his friends, smiling at every of their faces. He allowed a silent moment to pass, to get clearer and longer looks, then finished, “Let’s get out of this hellhole.” He listened once more as they began to plan their escape again.

It didn't take them long to exit the building. After the death of Candrog, the remaining soldiers stood down, not wanting to mess around.

They were a bloody bunch. Badim was looking worse for wear, and he carried Clare, who didn't look too injured but definitely traumatized. Lucas wasn't saying much, and Tseneca could tell he was exhausted. She was worried the most about Firi, who was badly burnt around her face and hands and had char marks on her back where she'd been shot.

They ran into Kyp as they continued out of the building into the darkened sunlight of the black stars building.

"Where have you been?" Tseneca asked as she took Firi from Dex, supporting most of her weight as the angel relaxed against the pain.

"Business... don't worry about it." Kyp said darkly

"Why is there a giant hole in the side of the building?" Badim asked squinting up to one of the top floors.

"The same reason we don't have a speeder." Tseneca answered back.

H6 gave the droid equivelent of a sigh. "Remark: We can never have nice speeders..."

Crews back on or near the blight leaper... continue posts there.
