Every now and then my PC is deleting entire folders of music, with no trace remaining. My itunes list just says "they're gone" and so they are. It did it once a few weeks ago with half a gig of music in one folder, and this morning I've discovered it did it to three more folders. What's going on?

Normally I'd say virus or spyware, but I'll assume that you've checked for such.
Could it be possible that iTunes has moved the folders or whatever to somewhere else? |

I've run total searches, the folders have not been moved.
I ran AVG and Spybot, Spybot found 20 Spywares and AVG found 10 threats. All have been removed.
Hopefully that's enough until I migrate to my bitchin' new laptop...

15.4" screen
4 GB RAM
500 GB Hard drive
2 Ghz Core 2 Duo processor (any higher adds huge amounts to the price )
And a graphics card that's 2.5 times better than my current one - Notebookcheck gives it 13,000 out of a max of 19,000 and I'm on a budget, so it's good enough for me.
Total of £646.

Sounds good, Alexus, but you can't go higher with the processor? :S I mean, 2 Ghz with a Core 2 Duo isn't going to do you wrong, but still. Usually higher clock speeds don't add a significant amount to the price, huh.
As far as the random deletion goes, I'd say virus or iTunes. Which are practically the same thing.

When I added a 2.1 the price immediately went up by £80! I want a faster processor, but for some reason the supplier seems to not want that

That thing has more power than my laptop and desktop PUT TOGETHER. What are you tring to do, play the original Halo?
I had a similar problem to that, after a Windows automatic update my Videos folder went missing. And all my frakking videos!!
I had a bunch of really cool ones too! Like the would-be legendary "pink stuff" from 007: Nightfire! And my LoZ drunken duel, which I can't replicate without... drinking! GAAAAH!  |
