Born to the underbelly of the Republic's capital, Ann Berlin rose from the poorest of levels, to become one of the most successful human celebrities of her time.
Her fame started in her younger years, first noticed by an Opera House owner, and was picked for several supporting roles. At fourteen, her first lead was starring in Mica Angole's The Slave's Secret Daughter, and collected several nominations.
At sixteen, she starred in a half-dozen galactic blockbusters; Tatooine Sunstorm, Sweet Home Thyferra, Gone with the Hyperdrive, Planet of the Droids, Star Voyage: The Future Generation, and Still Hope. Receiving critical acclamation, her status multiplied several times over.
At seventeen, during one of her publicity stunts, an overzealous fan decided to ‘release the angel from its mortal body’, and attempted to set Ann Berlin on fire. While he succeeded, the result would only be a temporary phase of great depression.
Surgeons from all over the galaxy extended their hands, and their sciences, into recreating her image. Though Ann looked virtually indifferent than her previous self, her vocal chords were enhanced, giving a broader range of ability. Overnight, her first pop culture album, sold over three billion copies, galaxy wide.
