is EXTERMINATION! EXTERMINATION OF YOU ALL!!
... but anyway, more on that later. Since you all know we've been rushing to try to get things together (and yes, the game will be launching in the wee hours tonight), some things are not yet complete. So, the purpose of this list is two-fold; I want to let you guys know what you can't rely on yet, and I want to remind CMAC, especially myself, of what still needs doing.
Unfortunately, I'm going to be gone for a week right after we launch, so most of these things won't be changing soon. Beware:
- The rules. As it is now, any rules on the Holonet, or the "Rules" link at the top of the navigation, are not up to date. They will be changed eventually, but for now, ask CMAC if you have any questions. Most of the rules, especially regarding conduct, are the same as the previous game, SWIVII (or any other forum, really). However, there are tons of other gameplay rules which are totally different from SWVIII. In short, these include:
- There are, as of now, no Force levels, and you don't need to roll for Force sensitivity.
- There are no lists of assets like in SWVIII, so don't try to make any.
- Battles may have an agreed-upon outcome (unanimous among battle commanders and faction leaders involved) that CMAC will not intervene in, or you may use the battlesystem (which is normal proceedure). The battlesystem is assetless, and goes by strategy and role-playing value. And yes, the examples will be continuing soon.
- The Holonet, in some places, still refers to SWVIII. If you come across user-editable pages on the Holonet that should be updated, please feel free to do so. There are also a few broken templates that have no yet been fixed.
- The site, as of now, won't display properly on Internet Explorer 6 and below.
I'll try to add more as I think of it. But, the key thing is, remember to ask CMAC if you have a question, and don't let things spiral into inferno while I'm gone next week. And, as always, thanks for being patient. _________________

Also, I should point out there is a plot involving the Moff Council, and to avoid any problems, we're not accepting further applications for Moffs until after it is done.
Don't worry, though... it's a very short, quick plot. _________________ Empress Shayera Jendob

Pretty
Also, if we've managed to attract one of 14% of people who actually still use IE6, it will be a good catalyst for them to embrace Firefox _________________ Lieutenant Jacen Tranada

Never tried that. Maybe I'll get to it after this image manipulator stuff.
I tried Safari and that was terrible.
And now that I come to it, I still don't know how to make myself a page in the wikinet. |

I feel anxious. Like the music of a Jack-in-the-box, slowly spinning downwards... you never know when POP GOES THE WEASEL |

It better. I'm using Windows 3.5 on a computer powered exclusively by gerbils in running wheels and the processor is a carrot. |
