Summarized Biography: Pennec was born on Kuat. His parent's were workers in the drive yards, and it was likely he would have followed that path himself, if it hadn't been for a passing Jedi taking notice of him. He told Pennec's family that the young boy was a Force Sensitive, and that he would like to see the boy to a Jedi Academy, where his power could be nutured properly. Pennec's family granted their permission gladly.

Pennec spent the early years of his life in Jedi training, and was never quite sure about. He was skilled, certainly, a little bit lacking in his skills with the Lightsaber, but more then made up for in his ability to control the force. But fighting and war never really interested him. However, he remained with the Order, and eventually became a full Knight.

He has always had a bit more of an intellectual bent, however, and has devoted himself to uncovering relics of the past. Above all, he hopes to find the Great Holocron, the repository of the great part of the Jedi's Lore and Learning.
