Okay! Second Capture attempt has begun!
This is up to Han:
Falcon isn't repaired in time, so Han is forced to leave his ship behind.
(Nico will provide the ship with a masking-device)
In the meantime, Nico will create a distraction (while also putting out the fires that will endanger the group/Falcon) via the Khan, while everyone tries to make it to the Blight Leaper.
Han and Tseneca are captured in this, while the rest of us make it out.
Team Two will use the blight leaper to steal a T.E. troop transport, while Team One sneaks back into the forest to retrieve and repair the Falcon with Leia. (This is made possible because of the full retreat of the True Empire, once they have Han Solo)
Sound good? |

Thanks, Alex!
I really doubt Han will leave the Falcon behind. He'd probably rather stay behind and try to hold things off to save it and possibly go down with his ship than just leave it there. And especially everything that had just happened between him and Leia, he wouldn't exactly be in a state to go running off into the wilderness. Probably more of the mentality, "You know what bitches, here I am - come and get me!" |

Sounds great!
In that case, I'm going to keep Han holed up at the Falcon and maybe continue to do some character interaction posts as we move forward. |

Excellent!! We just need to get him outside at some point for the explosion to go off, unless we plan something different?
And Jess, your post was great, no changes necessary!

I was thinking of having Jase and the gang taking the Denora's Fury to distract some of the fighters for the benefit of the whole group; and then provide support for the Leaper and troop transport for the rescue.

Yeah, but that might not work with the incoming battlecruiser flanked by hundreds of fighters.
Though you can provide anti-fighter support up until it arrives.
Basically a smaller version of the ISD has entered the battlefield. It'll be the vessel to receive Han and Tseneca, then it'll immediately withdraw all troops to deliver him to Commander Krauss.
We can expect an orbital bombardment on the forest, once all T.E. units have left.
So we shouldn't stick around too long. |

Ok, there seems to be some confusion, since Alex said there was a chicken walker (which I thought was universally associated with the AT-ST) and Jess said multiple AT-MPs.
So if no one objects, I'm just going to go an assume there's 1 AT-ST and 2+ AT-MPs present.
And then I'm going to blow up the AT-ST. Because I was going to do that anyway.
EDIT: Ok, I read back and saw the mention of 2 AT-MPs.
Still going to blow up the AT-ST. Because that's the kind of guy I am. _________________ Morgan ZIM: Bounty Hunter, Gun for Hire, Freelance Peacekeeping Agent, Cybernetic Scoundrel, and all around disruptor of the normal order of things. |

I was under the assumption that anything that walks on two legs like that was referred to as a chicken walker be it MP or ST, but yeah, that works. whatever floats your boat |

Nice post with Morgan.
Yeah, I thought chicken-walker had been a broad slang term, plus it could mean something different over time and across different worlds. After all, there really hasn't been a battle in a long time, they wouldn't really know these units first hand.

I can understand this. Me myself, however, I've always universally associated the term "chicken walker" with the AT-ST. _________________ Morgan ZIM: Bounty Hunter, Gun for Hire, Freelance Peacekeeping Agent, Cybernetic Scoundrel, and all around disruptor of the normal order of things. |

I'm going to try and post tonight, but if I don't get there, definitely tomorrow morning. It's crunch time for me at the moment as I have to meet a deadline by the 30th and I would like to have it out in the mail next week. We'll have to see what happens. |

Yeah, been trying to be creative with this post, but not much is coming to mind for this type of situation. _________________ "I Am Darth Cleavage!"

There ya go! Tossed everyone around.
I'll post as Jonas/Kalin tomorrow, but Sara can deliver the message just as well. I figured Han could get outside, then the droid snatches him, he shoots himself free, then as he tries to retreat back to the falcon, an explosion goes off (via Kalin) allowing True Empire droids to scoop him up.
Meanwhile,
Nico attacks Morgan
and
Tseneca is captured, leaving Lucas to blame himself as he makes his way to the Falcon or the Blight Leaper.
Han, how does that sound? |

That sounds great, Alex! I was wondering if you were going to post as Kalin. I was holding off until I see a reaction from him. I thought it'd be interesting to cause some tension between them right before everything hits the fan. |

Alex, did you change the plan on me again? Because that's the vibe I'm getting right at the moment. _________________ Morgan ZIM: Bounty Hunter, Gun for Hire, Freelance Peacekeeping Agent, Cybernetic Scoundrel, and all around disruptor of the normal order of things. |

I don't really see how flinging you (whatever) distance is considered changing the plan?
You could've went 2, 20, 100 feet, doesn't matter, I left that open for you.
I'm so confused what the plan is anymore. There is no way Nico would shoot Morgan in front of the ships, that is for certain. They were going to have to be away, retreating back to the ships, for it to even work. |
