The "Bad Guys" will not arrive for a while, so everyone can still chit chat and make repairs or leave the forest for a new location, but trying to run the blockade is foolish at this point.

Just go with the flow. It's unrealistic to think that you need to be at the computer constantly in order to stay up to date with all the replies. We all have busy lives and that should always come first. Make a reply when you can and don't stress out too much when things start to take off. When a lot of players get involved, you're going to have huge posting sprees. It's just the nature of the beast.

One tip I can offer to make this go a lot easier is to separate into smaller groups and not try to involve everyone in everything. We will all still be involved in the same storyline, but we'll all have something a little different going on to push it forward. In a way, we're doing that at the moment and if we can keep that up, we'll be in good shape.

Okay, I want to start from a fresh slate, taking only what we remember versus looking back, and create a go-to plan from here. I feel like we have different characters, and maybe things might've changed, or new ideas have sprouted.

I agree with Solo, and think it would be cool to divide up, then all come together for the rescue.

So far, we have the following... (I'm going to post again, just so it is broken up nicely, and I can edit with people's additions.)

CAPTURE ATTEMPT ONE:

True Empire sends a troop transport consisting of 30 soldiers and 15 battle droids. This attempt will fail, but we get a sense of "that was too easy".

CAPTURE ATTEMPT TWO

The second wave hits, as the majority of the group holds off the Empire while final repairs are made. Group falls under heavy fire, and are forced to flee. In the madness, Han Solo is captured, the Blight Leaper arrives, and Leia is able to fly out with the Falcon.



TEAM ONE:
Consists of: Jonas Eisley, Vera Nico, Sethe Bhren, Sara
Outfit the Khan and the Millennium Falcon for space travel.

TEAM TWO:
Consists of: Rueth, Tseneca, Lucas, Durron, Alisson,
Retrieve a troop transport for the RESCUE OPERATION.

TEAM "PRISONERS"
These individuals are operating above, and out of reach, at least, for this segment of the plot:
Lumiya / Han Solo / Coral Callatros / Selena Krauss
plus any captured in the SECOND CAPTURE attempt



RESCUE:

All teams will converge together in the following sequence

- - TEAM ONE repairs the Khan and the Falcon, with the Blight Leaper added to the mix.

- - TEAM TWO has captured a troop transport and loads the majority of the group to rescue Han Solo (and whomever else has been captured)


News reaches the surface of a small "REBEL" ATTACK FLEET ENGAGING THE TRUE EMPIRE (this is slotted to lose, but it will be enough time for the troop transport to land in, and rescue the Corellian)

In a dramatic fashion, all teams aboard their many vessels, jump to hyperspace with the rebel fleet, leaving Bakura to the True Empire.



NOTABLE ACTIONS:

- - Duel between Var and Durron (IN PROGRESS)
- - Duel between Lumiya and Denora ("RESCUE" Phase)
- - Morgan getting blasted by Nico (CAPTURE ATTEMPT TWO)


I know I left a lot out, which is why I need you to voice it now, so we can add it in there. Normally I hate mapping things out, but with so many people, we want to make sure we hit all the bases, while leaving some room for improv.

Also, I need to know what teams you want to be on. The repair team will be much more relaxed, just some character-to-character interactions, whereas the second team will enter the city and engage the True Empire, and be all ninja like.

Team Denora will have to be in group two. have a feeling the Denora's Fury will need to use her many bristling weapons to help escort the troop transport. Also, Alex, we need to figure out how we're going to work out our duel because I think one of us putting up a joint post will be easier.

Looks good so far.

One thing I did want to point out is that I had planned to involve Jaina, Anakin and maybe a few others from the Skywalker/Solo clan at some point during the rescue. I'm not sure in what capacity yet, but I'm sure that'll make sense as we get closer to the actual event.

I'm not sure if they would be willing to lift the FS limit on players. I know at this point, I don't really care. Activity has dropped enough over the past couple of months and I know I'm eager to get as many players and characters in on this thing as possible.

Jase do you think you could back trace a little? I am not quite sure everyone is really ready, a lot of conversations are still half-finished, and the troop transport wouldn't arrive for an hour or two.

Well, I may have gotten a little 'excited' at the prospect of combat, which is why I thought I'd have Jase and who he figured was best for combat engage and wipe out the troops. Then the whole 'too easy' thing while the Falcon gets repaired, then all the REAL hell would break loose.

I guess I wasn't trying to get the battle started. I was under the impression that due to the troops not being nearby (according to what Jess said in her post that Morgan was going off of), we'd have them prepare for the imperial troops first and try to put together something resembling a battle plan. Get together a team or something rather than someone just say 'hey, everyone, let's go kill em' and then have said people be at the battle.
