Hello everyone, this is my plotline for my three characters. The impact on the main storyline plot, or on any other played character is by design minimal. Almost all of the story will take place on the Outer Rim, mostly beyond the reach or control of any major faction. Any action that will occur on GU, GE, NR or NE territory can be safely considered by those faction's players as irrelevant to their interests.
Corask Slen'da - A Jedi XenoArcheologist who sets out on a trail of pirates but eventually stumbles on the trail of the galaxy's oldest (and probably richest) Human. Slen'da is a Jedi first, a Bothan second, and an insatiable scientist third. The strengths and weaknesses of all three aspects will be tested in his journeys.
Cragus 12 - This amoral cyborg bounty hunter joins the hunt for simple reasons; the reward and a pardon for crimes against the Republic. He will lead the hunt, and guide Slen'da through the underworlds and ancient sites of the Outer Rim on the trail of Harth.
Set Harth - Is the legendary Dark Jedi, and will be my Nemo. Set Harth has moved beyond the labels "Jedi" or "Sith", but a strong-willed man of few scruples beyond that of the thirst for power, knowledge, and immortality. Harth will be the driving force behind most of the story, but hides behind proxies, business fronts, and aliases. He will only be truly revealed quite late in the story.
Initial Chapters:
Slen'da will leave the Rafa System archeology digs for a meeting with his Jedi superiors. Upon his return, he finds the entire research team slaughtered, all data stolen, and the dig site disturbed and robbed. With few (misleading) clues and struggling with his own Bothan ideas of revenge, he sets out to bring the murderers to justice. Initially misidentifying the assailants, he hires Craggus 12 to assist him in tracking down and dealing with the pirates and collectors.
He will, however, stumble upon the fact that a Force-Sensitive led the efforts. With this knowledge, Craggus 12 and a few more allies, he begins the hunt for the true mastermind. This will take the duo through the underworld and the black market, smuggling routes and shadowports, and deep space and ancient worlds with ancient terrors. Slen'da will be out of the galactic loop for much of the time, while at the same time contacting long-lost worlds and legends.
Most of the initial chapters will be based in the Centrality, and along the Treillus Trade Route, but will eventually move through the worlds of the Old Sith Empire, the Infinite Empire and Xim the Despot, Wild Space and the edge of the galaxy.
He will encounter some of the mysteries and legends of deep space, such as the starwierd, the Phantom Ships of Navarre and the Diathim and Maelibi of mythical Iego.
He will face resurfaced foes, seek advice from well-known friends and allies, and seek new ones. All in all, he will run across all aspects of the Force, from artifacts and holocrons to Sithspawn and isolated Force Sects. Throughout this, he will be continually faced internal issues of his own personal desires and the Jedi Code.
I'll keep ya posted as I move along.

That actually seems like an interesting tale, Sol. I will be reading this very eagerly, possibly throw one of my characters to join in on it for a bit too when there's an opportunity. |

It has been quite a while since I wrote consistently at anything, and then is was mostly reports or news articles. Any feedback on my writing style is greatly appreciated. Just PM me, and I'd be quick with my thanks and response.

You know Sol, I'm really liking your writing style. And I'd rather not PM it because this shouldn't be a behind the scenes 'Good job!', if something needs to be commented on, like a good post (or series of posts), then if there's a thread for it (Here), it should be commented on.
But otherwise I'm really interested now, and at a point when I can get involved with any of my characters, I surely will. |

So far so good.. here is what I will be working on in the next month.
Set Harth will test the strength of the Amulet of Kalara by travelling to Myrkyr, before exploring the ancient ruins and the spice mines of Kessel.
Cragus will wrap up his contract in the Renatasian-Centrality war, and as a result of some corruption and backstabbing, leave Centrality space with deathmarks from both the Centrans and the Renatasian guerillas. He will be looking for work, and pay, desperately.
Slen'da will travel to Kelada to meet Lando Calrissian, who will show him the facts of the theft, and the holorecordings of the thief. Calrissian will also explain to Slen'da about the galactic shadow market, the trade in rare and illegal commodities, smuggling routes and shadowports. Through his exploration of the shadow market, he will connect the Kelada theft to his pursuit of Aach Een, the "leader" of the raiders of the Rafa Massacre.
In future posts, Slen'da will seek Calrissian's experience and advice via holocommunications while moving through his quest. But Calrissian knows Slen'da will need someone to guide and escort him through the on-the-ground matters, and that person will eventually be Cragus 12. |

Update so far:
To paraphrase Churchill "it is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."
After a slow buildup, Cragus and Slen'da have finally joined forces, and began tracking down Aach Een, the supposed agent in the massacre at Rafa. They are led to the Guild Auction, a gathering of the richest and vilest gangsters in the Outer Rim; I will use the auction ship to provide an updated picture of the criminal underfringe in the galaxy, trying to provide some extra detail to introduce some of crime lords, slavers, soldiers-for-hire, bounty hunters, freedom fighters and their worlds, which will hopefully set up future chapters.
Through a coincidence, both Aach Een and Set Harth are aboard the Guild auction ship, which is confusing their pursuers, and not yet knowing about Harth, will focus on Een. That notwithstanding, Harth and Slen'da will have met by chance, over sabacc, and that will come back to Slen'da over the coming weeks.
In the next month, the chase for Een begins in earnest, and will probably quite quickly end in his death (and others) by lightsaber, and the discovery that Een was innocent of everything and there was somebody else behind both crimes. I believe it will come down to the Force to direct Slen'da in the right direction of Harth.
During this, Harth (my Nemo) will discover that people -and a Jedi- are actively searching for him. After a thousand years of being alone and generally in hiding, Harth may come to feel as though he has a kindred spirit in Slen'da. Both share a deep quest for knowledge, and with Slen'da's actions in the death of Aach Een and others, Harth may come to identify with him.
At times, the hunted will become the hunter, and Harth will alternately play or flee Slen'da and Cragus by leading them into traps or situations that test Slen'da's faith in his jedi ideology, and perhaps turn his perception of Harth from a Sith legend, into something far more, or far less. |
